English Abstract

My process does not convert natural gas into compressed natural gas, does not convert natural gas into liquified natural gas but uses 2 new chemical formulas to convert natural gas into synthetic gasolines or into synthetic diesels. After producing CO through a technology of partial combustion, my process improves Fischer Tropsch process using CH4 instead of H2, following 2 new chemical equations and adding salt (NaCl) to an iron (FeO) catalyst or to any other catalyst capable of generating hydrocarbons. Instead of producing a large variety of synthetic hydrocarbons like other processes do, my process delivers only synthetic gasolines following 5 CH4 + 2 CO = C7H16 + 2 H2O or only synthetic diesels following 11CH4 + 5 CO = C16H34 + 5 H2O thanks to the addition of salt to an iron catalyst or to any other catalyst. No oil refining needed. Because natural gas is the cleanest hydrocarbon, my process produces clean synthetic gasolines or clean synthetic diesels. Because the prices of natural gas are very low, my process produces clean synthetic gasolines or clean synthetic diesels at very low costs.


French Abstract

Mon procédé ne convertit pas le gaz naturel en gaz naturel comprimé, ne convertit pas le gaz naturel en gaz naturel liquéfié, mais fait appel à deux nouvelles équations chimiques permettant de convertir le gaz naturel en essences synthétiques ou en diesels synthétiques. Après production de CO grâce à une technique de combustion partielle, mon procédé améliore le procédé Fischer- Tropsch, cela en remplaçant le H2 par du CH4, suivant deux nouvelles équations chimiques, et en ajoutant du sel (NaCl) à un catalyseur à base de fer (FeO) ou à n'importe quel autre catalyseur capable de générer des hydrocarbures. Au lieu de produire une vaste gamme d'hydrocarbures synthétiques comme le font les autres procédés, le mien ne génère que des essences synthétiques selon l'équation 5 CH4 + 2 CO = C7H16 + 2 H2O, ou que des diesels synthétiques selon l'équation 11CH4 + 5 CO = C16H34 + 5 H2O, cela grâce à l'addition de sel à un catalyseur à base de fer ou à n'importe quel autre catalyseur. Nul raffinage n'est nécessaire. Comme le gaz naturel est l'hydrocarbure le plus propre, mon procédé permet de produire des essences ou des diesels synthétiques propres. Comme le prix du gaz naturel est très faible, mon procédé permet de produire des essences ou des diesels synthétiques propres à très faible coût.

CLAIMS

The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege
is claimed are
defined as follows:
1- A process for producing synthetic gasolines by the reaction of 59% methane,
CH4,
with 41% carbon monoxide, CO, in the presence of a catalyst being made up of
about 2/3 of
crushed salt, NaCl, and of about 1/3 of crushed iron, FeO, caracterised by the
circulation of
methane, CH4, and carbon monoxide, CO, in the presence of this iron+salt, 1/3
FeO + 2/3
NaCl, catalyst at a constant temperature of about 300°C. -
350°C., at a constant pressure of
about 450-500 p.s.i.

2- A process for producing synthetic diesels by the reaction of 56% methane,
CH4,
with 44% carbon monoxide, CO, in the presence of a catalyst being made up of
about 2/3
of crushed salt; NaCl, and of about 1/3 of crushed iron, FeO, caracterised by
the circulation of
methane, CH4, and carbon monoxide, CO, in the presence of this iron+salt, 1/3
FeO + 2/3
NaCl, catalyst at a constant temperature of about 200°C. -
250°C., at a constant pressure of
about 450-500 p.s.i.

3- A process for producing carbon monoxide, CO, and hydrogen gas, H2, by the
partial combustion of 50% methane, CH4, with 50% oxygen gas, O2, caracterised
by the
circulation of 50% methane, CH4, and 50% oxygen gas, O2, in a vacuum chamber.
