THE ABSTRACT:
-The invention is a manually operable arm
that is placed around the edge of the stove
as a shield.

THE CLAIM:
-In an average kitchen, nothing on the
stove prevents a small child from
approaching the hot burners and getting
hurt.
-In this invention the top of the stove is
surrounded by a shield that prevents small
children from putting their hands on the
burners and from pulling on the handle of
pots and pans while the stove is on.
