AllON
(1) This invention is a glove coated with a glue, rubber or
silicon and then covered with sand or abrasive materials
to make it very easy to sand with.
(2) Common sandpaper may be difficult to hang onto and sanding
sponges or other items can be difficul~ to squease. Also
one could get splinters from ~ood or cuts from metal very
easily with these previously mentioned items.
(3) I have overcome the problem of the slipperiness of ordinary
sandpaper by applying glue, rubber or silicon to a glove then
coatlng it wilh either sand or another abrasive. Thls worked
extremely well and sanded very good. P,ut also it kept me
from getting splinters or cuts from sharp rusted metal. ~specially
~ith a slightly thicker coat of rubber and coarser sand.
(4) I found it best to use a light work glove made of cotton
or polyester and coat it (by brushin~ or spraying)with rubber, glue
or slllcon then pour or spray the abrasive over the glove
~efore the material cures. This worked especially well for
lighter coats ~ecause the glove could be reversed to use
the back for more sanding.
