SPECIFICATIONS
1. This invention relates to sports e~uipment, more
precisely a hockey stick.
2. A problem with hockey sticks is that the surface of
the stick is smooth which can cause the stick to slip from
the player's grasp. This smooth surface can also hinder a
player's puck handling ability as a result of a poor grasp
of the hockey stick.
3. I have found that these disadvantages may be overcome
by using an aluminum hockey stick shaft with a ribbed
pattern extruded the length of the shaft. These ribs reduce
the chances of the shaft slipping from the player's grasp.
By improving the grip on the shaft the player's puck
handling and shooting ability may be enhanced.
4. In the drawings that illustrate the shaft, Figure 1 is
an end view of the shaft. This drawing shows the ribs on
all four sides of the shaft. Figure 2 is a three
dimensional view of the shaft which shows the ribs
extending the length of the shaft.

Representative Drawing
A single figure which represents the drawing illustrating the invention.
