English Abstract

With a fly swatter it is known that we will wipe off or pick up insectsafter we have swatted them. In this invention a replaceable cardboard
insert covered in a glue like substance would trap and hold the insect
until we replaced it with a new one.

Claims

Note: Claims are shown in the official language in which they were submitted.

CLAIMS
" The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or
privilege is claimed are defined as follows:"
1 A manually operable tool used for swatting and trapping insects
comprising a pliable plastic swatter, a pocket in which to trap and
hold insects after they are swatted.
2 A tool as defined in claim 1A which has a disposable and replaceable
cardboard insert covered in a glue like substance.
3 A tool as defined in claims 1A and 2 in which a pliable plastic door
is closed on to a main frame by way of a plastic clip which holds
in place a disposable and replaceable cardboard insert covered in
a glue like substance.

Description

Note: Descriptions are shown in the official language in which they were submitted.

2162~:~0
SPECIFICATION
This invenffon relates to a manually operable fly swatter for trapping
and holding insects.
It is common with our regular fly swatters to have to pick up or wipe off
insects from surfaces of contact after we have swatted them.
We have found that we can eliminate this by providing a pocket to the
fly swatter in which a dis~ sahle and replaceable cardboard insert cv~ d
in a glue like substance would hold and trap the insects, we could then
replace the used insert with a new one at anytime.

SPECIFICATION
Hollow main frame (lA) is intended to show the raised perimeter of a pliable
plastic frame the approximate size could be that of a regular fly swatter
the raised edge will keep the insert (5/6) from touching the surface of contact
and also creates a pocket in which to trap the insects in.
lB a slight in~l~nt~ n on the back of main frame lA in~end~l to ensure
a secure fit when ( S/6) are in place.
Hollow frame door (2~ made of pliable plastic is attached to the main frame (lA)by way of attached bottom molding, hollow door frame (2) would close into
a ~I;ghtl~ indented ridge (lB) on the back of the main 1rrame (lA~ intended to hold
insert (5/63 in place.
Pliable plasffc clip (3) attached to top of main frame (lA) is int~ndtd to hold
hollow frame door (2) securely in place.
Plastic swatter handle (4) attached to main frame (lA) could ~e approximately
the same size as that of our regular fly swatter.
