English Abstract

The doll, of a flexible nature, incorporates inside it
a folding and inflatable element retained by a closure
zipper fitted onto the doll's back. On opening the zipper,
the folding element may be unfolded and inflated, although
it remains constantly attached to the doll's back, so that
inflating said element forms a chair, cradle or some other
accessory on which the doll is sitting or lying-down, being
adhered from the rear. Inflation is by means of a device in
the form of a feeding bottle attached to the doll, which,
on being applied to a valve in the doll's mouth, inflates
the folding element to form the doll's sitting or
containing element. The folding element further includes a
release valve allowing deflation for folding the element
inside the doll's body, as shown in Figure 2.

Claims

Note: Claims are shown in the official language in which they were submitted.

CLAIMS
1. A doll incorporating a folding and inflatable element
formed of flexible material such as cloth or similar
material and being of an overall standard design,
essentially characterized in that it includes a folding and
inflatable element permanently associated to the inner rear
part of the doll's body, said element being liable to be
unfolded and inflated to form a sitting or laying-down
accessory for the doll; means being provided for inflating
the folding element, with an air entry valve connected to
the element and a release valve for deflation.
2. A doll incorporating a folding and inflatable element,
according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a
zipper on the back to form a closure means designed to keep
the element folded inside the doll's body.
3. A doll incorporating a folding and inflatable element,
according to claim 1, characterized in that the inflating
device is formed by a hollow elastic body, in the manner of
a feeding bottle, fitted with an elongated impelled air
exit mouthpiece, said device being associated to one of the
doll's hands through a long cord, chain or similar
attachment.
4. A doll incorporating a folding and inflatable element,
according to the preceding claims, characterized in that
the air entry valve located over the doll's mouth opens
when the end of the inflating device mouthpiece is applied
to it, said valve being communicated to the chamber forming
the folding inflatable element through a conduct running
along the interior of the doll.
5. A doll incorporating a folding and inflatable element,

according to the preceding claims, characterized in that
the folding element, once inflated, forms a chair or seat
for seating the doll itself, being provided with a front
tray and straps or bands for the user to seize and
transport said seat and doll.
6. A doll incorporating a folding and inflatable element,
according to claims 1 and 4, characterized in that the
folding element, once inflated, forms a cradle or carrycot
whereon the doll itself is lying, being provided with
straps or bands for the user to seize and transport said
cradle or carrycot and doll.

Description
The invention is related to a doll with an
incorporated folding and inflatable element peculiar in
that at a given moment and at the will of the child or user
of the doll, the pliable element forms an accessory
associated to the doll itself which may in certain cases
form a kind of chair and in others a kind of cradle or
carrycot or even a kind of baby carriage, namely any
accessory whose unfolding causes the doll to be sitting or
lying down thereon.
The doll is of a flexible nature, made of cloth or
similar material, with a hollow body which incorporates the
folding element associated thereto and which, when folded,
is closed by a zipper provided on the doll's back or rear
area. The folding element is furthermore inflatable to form
the doll's seating or holding accessory, as the case may
be, inflation being performed by means of a device in the
form of a feeding bottle, i.e. a rubber pear-shaped blower
or similar object forming a pump fitted with a thin and
elongated mouthpiece applied on a valve in the doll's
mouth, causing the element or accessory to be inflated
after opening the zipper that keeps it folded.
Evidently, the folding element or accessory is
associated to the doll so as to form an airtight chamber
with the doll and which when inflated forms the
corresponding accessory (cradle, chair, carriage, etc.),
being fitted with a release valve which allows it to be
deflated and then folded and stored inside the doll's body.
In order to complement the description and help toward
a better understanding of the characteristics of the
invention, a detailed description is provided hereunder
based on the set of drawings attached to this
specification, which forms an integral part thereof,
wherein the following is represented merely within an
orientating, non-limiting character:

21g3~19
-
Figure 1 shows a rear view of the doll of the
invention, with the closing zipper located on its back.
Figure 2 shows a rear perspective view of the same
doll, with the folding element in unfolded condition prior
to starting inflation for turning it into a seating
accessory.
Figure 3 shows a front view of the doll sitting on a
kind of chair formed after inflating the incorporated
folding, inflatable element.
Figure 4 shows the doll lying down on a kind of cradle
or carrycot formed, in this case, by the incorporated
folding inflatable element.
As can be seen from these drawings, the doll (1) of
the invention, formed of a flexible material, has a hollow
body incorporating a folding element (2) inside it which is
positioned and contained by means of a zipper (3) provided
on the back. Said folding element (2), upon opening the
zipper (3), may be unfolded, as can be seen in Figure 2,
thereafter being inflated to form a seat (4) or a kind of
carrycot or cradle t5) or any other kind o accessory
forming a sitting or laying-down means, etc., for the doll
-(1), which is permanently associated through its back to
said element (2) designed to form the accessory itself.
Inflation of the element (2) is by means of a device
(6) forming a kind of feeding bottle, of an elastic pear-
shaped inflator type fitted with an elongated mouthpiece
(7) through which the air flows, whereby on coupling said
mouthpiece (7) to the doll's mouth (1), wherein an entry
valve (8) is provided, the air in the device (6) is
delivered through àn internal conduct to the element (2),
which is inflated to form, for example, a seat (4), as
shown in Figure 3, or a carrycot or cradle (5), as shown in
Figure 4.
The inflating device (6) is attached to one of the
hands (9) of the doll (1) through a cord, chain or similar

attachment (10).
The folding element (2), forming an airtight chamber,
is fitted with a release valve (11) allowing for deflation
and subsequent folding of said element (2).
Finally, the element (23 may be further fitted with a
tray (14) and straps or bands (12) and (13), as shown in
Figures 3 and 4, designed, in the first case, for carrying
the doll as a backpack formed by said inflated element (2),
and in the second case for the child or user to hold by
said bands (13) the cradle or carrycot (5) forming said
inflated element (2).
