approximately one and
three quarters of an inch or any measurements thereof. These indicators are

version will have a space proportional to their dental physiology.
The floss will automatically tear at a
length of 14-18 inches

Title
IMPROVED DENTAL FLOSS, TAPE
Field of Invention
This invention relates generally to Dental Hygiene and more particularly to
dental floss, tape
and any other type of material related to flossing with indicators to guide
the user and facilitate
the placement of their fingers on the floss, tape or any other type of related
material while
flossing.
Background of information
We all know that old saying "floss only the teeth you want to keep" that is
how important flossing
is. But if the floss or tape or any other type of related material are not
used properly, you are not
helping your hygiene but rather doing more harm.
"Using too long a piece of floss between the fingers when held for insertion
could cause cuts or
clefts primarily on facial or lingual surfaces directly beside or in the
middle of the interdental
papilla. They appear as straight line cuts from the gingival margin towards
the microgingival
junction".
- snapping the floss through the contact
- not curving the floss enough
- floss held straight across the papilla
- using too much pressure

SUMMARY OF INVENTION
The principle object of the present invention is to put some indicators on or
in the dental floss,
tape or any other related material which would show visually or physically
friendly to the user a
reasonable space in between the fingers for a better control while flossing.
Any colored non-toxic dye may be used to identify these areas. In regarcl to
physically friendly
the dental floss, tape or any other related material will feature some
localized areas to be
rougher or thicker surfaces and will help the visually impaired.
One inch and three quarters would be a reasonable amount of floss to roll the
used floss on the
fingers and another indicator on the floss would be used again to go in
between the teeth. The
indicators are about three quarters of an inch.
