English Abstract

The invention relates to a lollypop display container comprised of a body
having an outer surface with a series of lollypop supports and fitted inside
with an opaque box having a lamp lighting a bundle of optical fiber cables.
The opposite ends of each cable are lodged inside the hollow stick of a candy
while the other ends of the cables are assembled into a parallel, tight,
flushed and adjusted bundle by a clamp that is screwed to the interior of the
opaque box. The free ends of the optical fiber cables lodged inside the candy
extend above the support in such a way that the ends thereof are located close
to the candy mass. The opaque box additionally has a transversal partition
glass, a fan and an electrical transformer being placed inside the body of the
display container.

series of lollypop (9) supports (10), characterised in
that in the interior of the body (1) there is provided
an opaque box (3) comprising an electrical lamp (2)
focused onto a bundle of optical fibre cables (8), the
opposite ends of each cable (8) being housed in the
interior of the hollow suck of a lollypop (9); in that
the optical fibre cables (8) are joined together, at
the proximal end of the opaque box (3), in a parallel,
compact bundle, which is flush and adjusted by means of
a bracket (7) held threaded to the interior of the
opaque box (3); and in that the free end of the optical
fibre cable (8) hosed within the stick of the lollypop
(9) extends above the support, in such a that its is
located close to the candy mass.
2.- Lollypop display container according to claim

LOLLYBOP Dt8&LAY CONTAINER
D E 8 C R I p T I O a1
OBJECT OF THE INVENTTON
The present PCT application has as its object to
file a lollypop display container having important
innovations and advantages when compared with the up
to-date lollypop display containers.
More precisely, it refers to a lollypop display
container which comprises a l~.ghtning system for the
candies, that provides them with an evocative and ap
pealing look.
BACKGRUOND OF THE INVENTION
Nowadays, there are several kinds of containers
for displaying and yelling lollypops in the retailing
shops, Most of them consist of a transparent container
or its principle is based on providing the candies and
container assembly with a static geometric configura-
tion that makes them appealing.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTTON
The loliypop display container which is the ob-
ject of the present application is characterised in
that it comprises a support which holds the candies on
its top in an appealing and singular fashion by having
a system that, in addition, lightens the said candies
provided on top of the display container.
In this way, the display container comprises a
lamp or lightning point which lightens the interior of
each lollypop providing the latter with luminosity
thanks to the glassy nature of the candy. This effect
is achieved by using an optical fibre inserted in each
lollypop trough the hole of its stick. One end of each

optical fibre cable is joined in a parallel fashion to
., a bundle and directed towards the lightning lamp. The
said lamp is located within an opaque box that prevents
light from being transmitted to the exterior, except
for the optical fibre bundle, as desired.
Thus, each lollypop being inserted in the orifice
provided to this end en the support is lightened, show-
ing different colours, according to the colour of the
candy and the protecting wrapping covering them.
In such a manner, the lollypops are rendered
highly attractive elements on the upper part of the
support, thus achieving the desired appeal effect.
In the hole devised to hold the lollypop the free
end of the optical fibre is located, protruding there
from to form a thin filament that eases for the inser
tion of the stick.
The opaque box where the lamp is provided.has in
its interior a glass that divides the said chamber in
to halves, spacing the sheet apart from the optical
cable bundle. This glass prevents the lamp-generated
heat from being transmitted to the optical fibre ca-
bles, thus preventing on its turn the overheating of
such cables.
The display container body has, in addition, a
fan linked to a box orifice which is adapted for the
removal of the hot air generated in its interior. An
electrical transformer is provided for the feeding of
the lamp and of the fan.
In order to make up the following description,
and wzth the aim of helping in better understanding its
characteristics, the present description is completed
with a set of drawings, wherein, in an illustrative and
non limiting fashion, the most important features have
been represented.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Fig. 1 shows a sectional view of the lollypop
display container.
Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of the lollypop
S display container.
DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
In the aforesaid drawings, and according to the
related numbering, it can be seen a preferred, though
no limiting, embodiment of the invention, consisting of
a display container body (1) having, preferably on its
upper part, a plurality of supports (10) for receiving
the hollow stick of a lollypop (9). The display con-
tainer body (1) has in its interior an opaque box (3)
held by supports and including in its interior an elec-
trical lamp (2). The said lamp (2) is focused through
a glass (4) onto a bundle of optical fibre cables (8)
located on the opposite side of the box (3). The bundle
of optical fibre cables (8) is coupled tv the opaque
box (3) by means of a threaded bracket (7) which holds
all of the optical. fibre cables (8) parallel with each
other and flush in a plane which is perpendicular to
their axes. In the interior of the opaque box (3) and
above the lamp (2) there is a glass sheet (4) which
divides the said chamber into two halves, and spacing
the Lamp (2) from the bundl~ of optical fibre cables
(8) .
The free end of each optical fibre cable (8) is
inserted at the lower part of the support (10) of the
lollypop, protruding therefrom to the exterior to a
great extent. The said end of the optical fibre cable
(8) is suited to be housed within the longitudinal hole
of the lollypop stick (9).
The interior of the display container body (1) is

also provided with a fan (6) fox cooling the interior
and the lamp (2) , and with an electrical transformer
(5) for their feeding,
