Méthode pour accroitre Ia capacité de transit d'une ligne de transmission à
haute tension
dans une région soumise au verglas.
Cette méthode permet d'éviter d'avoir à renforcer les tours, les isolateuxs et
les
fondations. de la Ligne.
Étape de la méthode
a) soit une ligne de transmission avec des lignes de phases de x sous
conducteur
x=làn
b) on ajoute y sous conducteurs aux lignes de phases y = à ~
Le nombre de sous conducteurs k des nouvelles lignes de phases devient égal à
k = x+Y.
c) l'impédance de Ia nouvelle ligne avec k sous conducteurs est abaissée, ce
qui
accroît sa capacité de transport d'ënergie.
d) pour éviter de surcharger les tours, Les isolateurs et les fondations on
ajoute des
modules de déglaçage à Ia ligne de transmission tel que décrit dans Les
brevets
US 6, 396, 172 B1 May 28, 2002 , US 6, 486, 569 B2 I~Iov. 26, 2002, la demande
de brevet international PCT/CA00/01348 filed November 14, 2000 ou le dépôt
provisoire. Le poids additionnel des conducteurs est compensé par la réduction
de
la charge de glace due à l'ajout des modules de déglaçages.
Exemple : soif une ligne de transmission de 31 S kV avec des faisceaux de deux
conducteurs on ajoute un ou deux conducteurs à ce faisceau pour obteiûr des
faisceaux de 3 ou ~ conducteurs et on ajoute des modules de déglaçage
faisceau faisceau faisceau

Avec ces modifications on obtient une ligne avec une capacité de transmission
accrue, un système de protection contre le verglas et un: modulateur
d'impédance.
