Claim 1st The top chords constructed as described with the damps E, in combination with truss rods U. 2nd The employment of iron or metallio straps B, ia combination with truss rods C, constructed as desoribed forming the bottom chord B. 3rd The application of saddle pieces P, or equivalent bearings on the prisms in combination with the prisms or oross girders. 4th The end bearing blocks M. 5th in the combination of top ohord A, bottom chord B, clamps E, saddle pieoes I, with other parts of framing of a " Howe Truss Bridge."
