machine washable and it serves a variety of purpose from cold, pain, cuts,
hygiene cleanliness,
protection and it meets most of a user requirements.
0003 The objects and advantages of this invention will become apparent during
the continuance of the
description.
BRIEF DESCRIPTIONS OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING
0004 FIG I and FIG 2: is the main embodiment of the specification, where 1 is
a top surface view of
comfort toilet seat cover which is wider than the adjustment that have to be
made on the underflap
width which will determine how the tabulation will work. If the underflap
width is slightly short than
the upper surface will curved underneath the toilet seat to tab it, which will
hug the seat. However,
when the underflap width is wider than the tabs will be tabs on the outer
curvature. This toilet seat can
be manufacture in oval shape from paper, plastic and fabric, also strips of
material of same mentioned
(paper, plastic, fabric) can also be cut in specific length which is sewed to
form an oval shape in gage,
pleats and gathers for individual designs to fit on ornamental toilet seat.
Stretchable material can also
be used. Materials and designs used to create the art of comfort toilet seat
can be made cheap and
expensive of reasonable price which will determine the value so as to give
users choices. In the
development of the embodiment it can prevent the cold, pain and cuts that may
cause on a user, and
also as a user aged. The underlining 2 is of durable material of another
texture of material of the same
matching colour as the upper surface. la as in Fig2 carries the same material
and colour as in 2 Figl
with the exception that adjustment will have to be made on the Fig2 underflap.
In between/middle of
l&2 stuffing 5 of polyester quilted batting material is placed to form a
cushion as those used in
Comfort Sheet. This particular section can also be manufacture without
underlining 2 and stuffing
material 5 to make the toilet seat cover less expensive as fabric is now
manufactured to suite all types
3

CA 02553341 2006-06-27
of needs as those manufactured for the winter season. l&2 once stuffed 5 is
sewed together with elastic
and edger/or trimming material to give it neatness in appearance. Heavy
bracket on the right side 1& I a
showing the area on the opposite side which will not carry any form of
elastic. A good idea is shown
on Fig4 at 20 wings. l&2 Figi at 4 and la Fig2 at 4 are sewed together at the
oval. In this area also
1&1 a at 4 can only sewed together with the elimination of 2&5 and quilted
batting material for a
cheaper way of inventing this specification. 3 and 3a area is shape and sewed
square along the hinge
position without causing any problem with the flexibility of usage. 11 & 12
strings which is extended at
the back of Comfort Toilet Seat are fold and sewed to about'/z an inch in
width and attached into 5 to
retain comfort toilet seat securely in position at the rear, the string
carries the same matching colour and
the same quality of material as the underlining, underflap and edger/trimmer.
6,7, 8,9 &10 shows
position of the tabs which is sewed on to the fabric, which will than be
curved under the toilet seat to
snap on Fig2 at 6a, 7a, 8a, 9a & l0a respectively which is underneath the flap
as in Fig 2 to retained
toilet seat strongly in position. When. the tabs are position to form the
curvature as it snaps together it
gives Comfort Toilet Seat a Uniform presentation. The tabs used are being
sewed on to the fabric
which is hook and loop fastener tape knows as VELCRO. 13 Fig2 is a string high
light of reasonable
length which is sewed on the left inside of the underflap between 8&8a to snap
on 13a which is sewed
on Figl which is underneath the underlining of the surface view of the comfort
toilet seat, of the same
colour and fabnc as in 11,11 a,12& 12a will be used. Fig2 13 high lighted
string of reasonable length is
fold and sewed to form a width of about'/2 inch. 13 Fig2 also carries three
adjustable tabs FIG9 shows
when snap on its respective position 13a form a handle, which will than be
used by male user to
attached on a hook shown in FIG6 (the hook can be purchase at Home Depot,
Rona, Zeller etc) which
is paste/affix on the toilet seat water tank or toilet seat water tank cover
to hold comfort toilet seat in an
upright position for the elimination of urination in a comfortable usage and
can be unhook and tuck in

assemble on the toilet seat it is
ready for a sitting down user this is machine washable and reusable.
0005 FIG3 is a rare backing attachment where 14 the upper surface shows three
separate pieces of
uncushion fabric of the same colour, design, texture which is slightly wider
in width than Figl and Fig2
is stitch at the inner high light 4a curvature. 15a heavy lines illustrate
where the material is fold and
sewed about'/4 inch which will be overlapping one another to give an opening
in an angle form, that
gives flexibility along the hinge area of the toilet seat. The stitching at
15a will prevent shifting on Figl
and Fig2 as fabric materials tends to stick together once tabs. 15 opposite
outer curvature edges can
also be sewed with elastic if desired and are curved to hug 14 upper surface
tabs 16 to snap on the
adjacent side tabs. 16 high lighted tabs indicate that the opposite tabs will
have to open to give more
rooms on Fig8 for washing user's private parts when tilt further rare ward as
will explain in Fig7. This
rare backing insert is recommended for user, as this particular area tends to
get soiled due to repeated
usage. Fig3 is machine washable and reusable. The rare square remain square

of urination in a comforta.ble usage and can be unhook and tuck in between
2&la and reposition toilet
seat for other household user in a sitting down position. Similarly FIG4 is
attached the same way as
explained FIG1 and FIG2, with the exception that the rare wing tabs 21 on 17
will snap to the opposite
tabs by lifting the toilet seat slightly. FIG3 is a rare insert backing
attachment which is not cushion, but
carry the same design, colour, material as Comfort Toilet Seat and is inserted
at the back of comfort
toilet seat since this area usually get soiled. This is easily to slip on by
lifting the already assemble
toilet seat and attached the rare above and the front fabric attachment. User
should read the instruction,
look at the package diagram to determine which comfort toilet seat fit the
user specific toilet seat. FIG5
is attached at the front passage area as explained in FIG10. When F.IG5 is
manufactured in fabric,
FIG3 and FIG5 can give a complete FIG10 total protection of comfort toilet
seat. FIG5 insert fabric
will definitely have to be removed completely for washing the user's private
hygiene.
0015 When the tabs are open from the front the same way it is being tab for
positioning and the upper
surface is tilted back to whatever desired position the user require, the
under#7ap is also tilted upward
rare ward and snap together at the back. With legs spread apart while sitting
the user can than wash
their private parts the old fashion way. After taking care of their hygiene
user can than wipe the little
dropping of the water that fell on the plastic if any and than reopen the tabs
and reset the cushion toilet
seat back in its original position, thus insuring cleanliness to the user and
affording protection against
disease. Comfort Toilet Seat and its insert front and back is machine washable
and reusable. The
backing is also replaceable or if the user required more this can be purchase
separately. The plastic is
disposal in a garbage container base on the user discression and can also be
replaceable.
0016 Comfort Toilet Seat is easy to removed, just undo male string tab and tab
it to a nearly tab as
mention earlier, untie the strings at the rare and open the tabs, slightly
lift the front of toilet seat, move
the toilet seat cover back wards and pull out upwards. The strings will not
come into contact with the

water from the toilet bowl. If rare backing is attached simply detached the
application tabs opposite
each other, lift the toilet seat a little and slide out upward from the oval
area. In order to remove the
plastic just untab the front and slide upward from the oval front by slightly
lifting the toilet seat,
similarly this can also be done when manufacture in fabric. Finally in
removing the complete
protection plastic, simply untab the tabs by slightly lifting the toilet seat
and removed the plastic from
the above surface upwards.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field Of Invention
0001 This invention generally relates to a sanitary toilet seat cover use over
an ornamental toilet seat
cover. Since my invention is a combination of attachments, designs and
materials used to produced a
new and useful toilet seat cover, I have specifically focus on cushion,
uncushion, paper and plastic as
all my design carry a similar format, with very little changes on its
variation and modification of the
embodiment without departing from the scope of the invention, to meet the user
demands for urination,
excretion, cleaning ones private hygiene and for both user protection, comfort
during the cold and
during the usage of comfort toilet seat.
Discussion of Known Art
0002 Several inventors have good ideas, but many attempts have been made to
produce a satisfactory
sanitary toilet seat cover, as the need of an article of this character have
long been recognized. The
majority of these attempts made on developing different types of sanitary
toilet seat from different
types and quality of paper, also different grade of plastic, fabric have been
a commercial failures on the
account of assembling, packaging and dispensing the article.
0003 When paper is used on toilet seat its resistance is quite low, because it
does not have anything to
hold it in position. As a result it slides off the toilet seat. Paper quality
and type also plays a very
important role, if it is not chosen with care it can stick to the buttock and
frustrate the user. Many
inventors uses weakening lines, broken lines, cutting lines which also causes
problem to the user
because the weight of the user, shifting of the user body and damp sweat from
the user causes the paper
toilet seat to break. Therefore, the user will still come into contact with
the toilet seat and diseased is
17

CA 02553341 2006-06-27
spread. Also heavy adhesive, high peel adhesive tapes have been used to
develop many sanitary toilet
seat cover, which causes difficulties, and torn when removing toilet seat
cover and disposed of. I
personally had the opportunity of using the wax paper and the wax paper with a
partially cut-out centre
section, when place in use, the center section must be torn away or partially
separate from the rest of
the cover and the cover is than placed on the toilet seat, I find that it
oflen tear, interfering with the
intended use. The simple wax paper is till around which is dying away slowly,
as much as it is not a
bad invention, the user buttock, when placed on the seat, usually get inside
and get in contact with the
inner oval rim of the toilet seat with their legs touching the outer
curvature. The wax paper is too short
to meet the dimension of the toilet seat. Also when paper is flush down the
toilet as means of disposal
it usually get stuck in the toilet bowl depending on the quality that was used
and sometimes it break
down into pieces and causes double flushing and embarrassment if another user
have to used the toilet
right after a user if it goes unnoticed.
0004 Plastic has also been used by many inventors to develop sanitary toilet
seat covers, but again have
fail despite its good intention. The reason being plastic offer no insulation
from cold coming from the
toilet seat, it usually sticks to the buttock depending on the quality, and it
is difficult to keep it in
position. Again, I had the opportunity of using a deodorizing toilet seat
cover made of plastic which
was very frustrating in the sense that, timing was inconvenience because the
user has to wait until the
deodorizing agent who would be activated in contact with water and than
deodorizing the entire toilet
seat which was in a tubal form at a public restroom. Apart from that it causes
your buttock to get wet
from the deodorizing agent which is very frustrating to the user. When heavy
adhesive, high peel
adhesive is used on plastic, and have to be separated it usually cause the
plastic to stretch or torn in that
particular area of the tabs. The toilet seat cover also tents to slide
frontward when in use, this is cause
by movements of the user if elastic is not used. US PAT # 5537693 issued July
1996 when areas of
plastic are cut, generally opening do occur and a person do come into contact
with the toilet seat.
18

CA 02553341 2006-06-27
Another problem experience is that when elastic bands are used at the square
of the annular area it
usually lifts up due to lack of proper security. Repeated usage was also
mention by US PAT #
5537693 but fail to mentioned method of cleaning and disposal.
0005 As anyone who has used the prior art toilet seat covers is all too well
aware, none of these prior art
constructions offer a great deal of either physical protection or mental
comfort during their use due to
inherent dericiencies in their design and construction US PAT # 5392469 issued
Feb 1995 good
adhesive tabbing was mention on the usage of plastic. In the use of prior seat
a great many short
comings was presented, which made their handling difficult. They refuse to
conlorm to the shape of the
seat without a great deal of shaping, folding, tabbing, proper security and
stretching. Many inventors
have also developed cushion (stuffing) and without cushion sanitary toilet
seat cover made out of
different quality fabric. Many times the problems is experience by a male and
female user, in the sense
that a male user usually have difficulties when he have to lift the toilet
seat in an upright position and
end up holding it and urinate at the same time. In the development of this
type of toilet seat cover the
fabric is too short at. the oval area that the undersurface rides up to the
upper surface thereby
disengaging the attachment, its shape is too uncomfortable, it does not reach
the full length of the toilet
seat, the width is not wide enough to accommodate the contour of seat together
with it means of
attachment, the tabs, button, adhesive etc that is being used do also create a
user problem, it does not
hold securely in position. Difficulties have been experienced in its
attachment and removal for
washing. When tabs are used at the outer curvature, it is a good idea and
easily to attached and
detached, even though it appearance is wider in width when place on the
ornamental toilet seat.
However, tabs that are placed along the inner oval mention by US PAT# 1088090
issued Feb 1914 who
discloses a reusable toilet seat cover formed of a single piece of flexible
material having a cut-away
portion at its center area is very stressful because upon released/opening a
user fingers usually come
into contact with the rim of the toilet bowl, even thought it is advice to
lift the toilet seat cover upon
19

CA 02553341 2006-06-27
removal, a user will do differently, thereby spreading of disease occur -
bacteria, viruses, fungi,
parasites and the like germs and organisms that can be a serious hazard to the
user, this is serious
especially if the user fingernails is too long. Similarly, US PAT # 5537693
issued July 1996 also
position tabs the same way as US PAT# 1088090 but carries no form of security
at the rare square back
and as such the elastic used will. definitely lift up upon usage. Again, when
the material is too short, it
usually detached itself from the tabulation and lift up, many times it usually
left unattended because the
intended tabs could not keep up with its attachment. Also when too many
strings as mention by US
PAT # 5461732 issued Oct 1995 are used, it can get wet from the toilet bowl
water and may be too
crowded and hanging around the outer curvature of the toilet seat. I had the
opportunity of using a
stretchable fabric toilet seat cover made in China which was a total disaster
and is still on the market
presently because it causes many problems already mention. US PAT # 1575640
issued March 1926
uses leather, which is usually holds cold and upon repeated usage will
cracked, the same will apply to
US PAT # 1524853 which only carries elastic as its only form of security will
definitely lift up for lack
of proper security at the rare. At the opening of US PAT # 1575640 11 & 12
expanded area, where the
cloth will be exposed, no mention of cleaning was said. When cloth has to
adjust and readjust for
expansion it will form a hill and a slope along the centre and front depending
on its attachment. Also,
when stuffing material, mention by US PAT # 538795 issued May 1985 of cotton,
curled up hair etc.,
is being used, upon washing will form a ball, which is some cases maybe hard
to sit on and will
definitely cause problems for the user buttock. When fabric is also cut at the
rare as in US PAT #
1745223 January 1930 if there is no overlapping or protective lawyer a user
will come into contact with
the toilet seat as this is a big problem facing many people. Due to repeated
usage of cardboard
disclosed by US PAT # 1530424 that has a covering of two pieces of material
stitch together at their
adjacent edge to form openings, no mention was stated if it should be
replaceable even though
problems will be experienced at the annular area and with repeated usage of
the cardboard.

CA 02553341 2006-06-27
0006 US PAT # 5193229 issued March 1993 disclosed a removable toilet seat
cover comprising deep pile
carpet for cushioning of the rim of a rigid toilet seat and elastic bands that
aid the elderly in positioning
the cover on a seat for securing by the closing of overlapping flaps equipped
with VELCRO®-
type fabric hook-a.nd-link fasteners.
0007 CA PAT # 2244091 filed August 1998 disclosed a toilet seat cover made of
stretchable material
with two hooks to hold it in position at the rare with elastic bands to hold
it in position. However, this
will not work because the material is always misjudged in dimension and it
usually never has a good
holding at the inner oval nor at the exterior curvature because of lack of
proper security.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
0008 The advantage of Comfort Toilet Seat Cover is that it offers its own
protection cover above and over
the ornamental seat. It offers a wider upper surface which can hug the toilet
seat curvature and gives it
a uniform appearance. lts tabulation is not crowded but provides the security
requires together with
elastic bands and string to knot and bow at the rare. It comes in insert rare
backing and inserts front
insertion to protect the cushion toilet seat. Due to it's prolong usage its
life span is pretty good. It
enable the user to feel comfortable without any problems and eliminate the
cold, pain, gender problem
bring down cost etc; Its protective plastic and insertion gives a longer usage
and than dispose of in a
garbage container and the cost in minimal and a user time is consider
valuable. Good thing is that the
cushion and its insertion is machine washable and reusable, where as the
plastic and paper is disposed
of, base on the user discression.
