English Abstract

This invention provides and creates an easy, simple to use "Cutting Board
Assembly". This cutting board
assembly can cut in one chop meats, fruits and vegetable, without creating any
messy spills.
The base is made out of polycarbonate and is rectangle in shape, with a drip
track along the edges and
four tiny rubber legs to lift it off the surface giving more stability. The
drip edge collects any excess juices
that may ooze off from cutting.
The subassembly is the polycarbonate cutting board along with a left and right
bracket made out of
polycarbonate as well. These brackets are reinforced onto the base of the
cutting board by stainless
steel rivets. The brackets are then used as support for the cleaver which is
then installed between the
brackets. By swinging upwards and downwards the cleaver is used for precise
chopping without making
splatters.

Description - The Ultimate Cutting Board
The Ultimate Cutting Board is a combination of the cleaver and cutting board
for easy use. Both these
pieces have been around in many shapes and forms for years, however they've
never been put together
like to form an assembly like this.
In the past the cleaver would be used for cutting meat by hand on the
polycarbonate board. By raising
your hand with the cleaver and applying force to chop meat, particles will
splatter and pitch far away,
creating mess and additional work for cleaning up.
Figure 1 (Base)
This is a 10" x 13" polycarbonate board that is one inch thick. The thickness
gives enough depth to cut
out a drain around the board. It also can accommodate pressure when applied
and won't break. Four
holes 11/32" x 1-3/4" are predrilled into base to accommodate the attachments
in figure 2.
Figure 2 (Brackets)
The brackets are attached to the base in order to support the cleaver. There
are made out of the
polycarbonate material with a right and left bracket with dimensions 2" X 2" X
4-3/4". At the base of the
brackets there are two predrilled holes on each bracket to accommodate screws
11/32" x 1-3/4". There
are also predrilled holes at 3.594" high to accommodate stainless bolt that
will hold the clever in place.
Figure 3 (Cleaver)
The Cleaver is a solid stainless steel knife that is sharp and with pressure
can cut into most meat and soft
bones. The cleaver is 16" long with the widest part of it being the front and
is 4.5" high.
Figure 4 (Bolt)
The stainless steel bolt is used to secure the knife on to the brackets, to
allow the cleaver to swing freely
and perform chopping. The bold is 1.75" high and 0.239" wide at the top,
tapering off to the bottom at
0.313".
Figure 5 (Ultimate Cutting Board Assembly)
This is the overall picture of all the components put together thus showing
the complete assembly put
together.
