The invention is new image code software, and a process, that will enable
smart phones to quickly
acquire unique electronic multimedia business cards by scanning images using
the built in camera on the
phone.
The image code will embed data containing an "e business card" or business
profile- including location,
phone/contact info, business logo. A copy of the business card will be added
directly to the contact book
in the phone. The image code will also trigger a lookup and upload from a
central database reachable via
internet. The central database would store the company profiles including
images, contact information
and programs that will be uploaded to the phone. The company profiles (ebiz
profiles) would be
viewable with a "ebusiness cards application" The business cards application,
will hold company profiles
viewed as if flipping through a virtual card holder. These "smart cards" will
be able to access, and
interact with the phones navigation software and multimedia applications
(media player) to display
company ads, locate the company and social networking software.
The image code can be displayed on websites, business cards, store fronts,
clothing articles etc..
The invention encompasses imaging software programming, image design, business
card application
software and associated process.
