English Abstract


A two-sided LED lamp structure includes a lamp shell having a lamp cap and a
front chip plate disposed in the lamp shell and electrically connected with
the lamp
cap. The front chip plate is provided with a light emitting diode. A rear
portion of the
lamp shell is provided with a rear chip plate electrically connected with the
lamp cap.
The rear chip plate is provided with a light emitting diode. The rear chip
plate is
covered with a light-pervious rear shell. The two-sided LED lamp can
centralize the
lighting at the front end thereof and reinforce the lighting at the rear end
thereof. The
LED lamp has a double-sided lighting function to achieve a better three-
dimensional
lighting effect.

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
1. A two-sided LED lamp structure, comprising a lamp shell having a lamp cap
and a front chip plate disposed in the lamp shell and electrically connected
with the
lamp cap, the front chip plate being provided with a light emitting diode,
characterized
in that: a rear portion of the lamp shell is provided with a rear chip plate
electrically
connected with the lamp cap, the rear chip plate is provided with a light
emitting diode,
and the rear chip plate is covered with a light-pervious rear shell.
2. The two-sided LED lamp structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lamp
shell is made of a metallic material, and an outer surface of the lamp shell
is provided
with a plurality of raised ribs.
3. The two-sided LED lamp structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein a radiating
cover is provided in the lamp shell, an outer surface of the radiating cover
is provided
with a plurality of radiating fins, the front chip plate is disposed in the
radiating cover
and electrically connected with the lamp cap, and the rear chip plate is
located at a
rear end of the radiating cover to cooperate with the radiating cover.
4. The two-sided LED lamp structure as claimed in claim 3, wherein the lamp
shell is made of a plastic material, an outer surface of the lamp shell is
provided with a
plurality of raised ribs, and an inner surface of the lamp shell relative to
the raised ribs
is formed with grooves corresponding to the radiating fins of the radiating
cover.
5. The two-sided LED lamp structure as claimed in claim 3 or 4, wherein the
radiating cover is a metallic sleeve corresponding to an inner cavity of the
lamp shell,
and a through hole is defined between every two of the fins.
6. The two-sided LED lamp structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein a front end
of
the lamp shell is provided with a lens.
7. The two-sided LED lamp structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the rear
chip
plate is an annular member having an opening, and the rear chip plate is
fitted on the
lamp cap to be located on the lamp shell.

8. The two-sided LED lamp structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the rear
shell
is an annular shell.
9. The two-sided LED lamp structure as claimed in claim 8, wherein the rear
shell
is a curved shell.

TWO-SIDED LED LAMP STRUCTURE
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to an LED lamp, and more particularly to a
two-sided LED lamp structure.
2. Description of the Prior Art
As shown in FIG. 1, a conventional LED lamp comprises a lamp cap 1', a
trumpet-like lamp shell 2', and a chip with an LED disposed in the lamp shell
2'. The
front of the lamp shell 2' is provided with a lens 5. The light beam is
projected from the
front end of the lamp shell 2'. The LED lamp is brighter, and its lighting can
be
centralized. In particular, the LED lamp is widely used for lighting of
articles to be
displayed. In general, the light beam of the LED lamp is aimed at the
illuminated
article. When the LED lamp is arranged in a display cabinet, the illuminated
article will
be brighter. However, its surrounding is darker. Form some special articles,
their entire
colors cannot be presented if the light beam is centralized. It is necessary
to reinforce
the lighting for the surrounding, so additional lighting devices are required.
This
increases the complication of the lighting arrangement. Accordingly, the
inventor of
the present invention has devoted himself based on his many years of practical
experiences to solve this problem.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to provide a two-sided LED lamp
structure which is able to centralize the lighting for articles to be
displayed and to
reinforce the lighting for the surrounding. The LED lamp provides a better
three-dimensional lighting effect for the articles and reduces the number of
the lamp.
In order to achieve the aforesaid object, the two-sided LED lamp structure of
the
present invention comprises a lamp shell having a lamp cap and a front chip
plate
disposed in the lamp shell and electrically connected with the lamp cap. The
front

chip plate is provided with a light emitting diode. The two-sided LED lamp
structure is
characterized in that: a rear portion of the lamp shell is provided with a
rear chip plate
electrically connected with the lamp cap, the rear chip plate is provided with
a light
emitting diode, and the rear chip plate is covered with a light-pervious rear
shell.
Preferably, the lamp shell is made of a metallic material, and an outer
surface of
the lamp shell is provided with a plurality of raised ribs.
Preferably, a radiating cover is provided in the lamp shell, an outer surface
of the
radiating cover is provided with a plurality of radiating fins, the front chip
plate is
disposed in the radiating cover and electrically connected with the lamp cap,
and the
rear chip plate is located at a rear end of the radiating cover to cooperate
with the
radiating cover.
Preferably, the lamp shell is made of a plastic material, an outer surface of
the
lamp shell is provided with a plurality of raised ribs, and an inner surface
of the lamp
shell relative to the raised ribs is formed with grooves corresponding to the
radiating
is fins of the radiating cover.
Preferably, the radiating cover is a metallic sleeve corresponding to an inner
cavity of the lamp shell, and a through hole is defined between every two of
the fins.
Preferably, a front end of the lamp shell is provided with a lens.
Preferably, the rear chip plate is an annular member having an opening, and
the
rear chip plate is fitted on the lamp cap to be located on the lamp shell.
Preferably, the rear shell is an annular shell.
Preferably, the rear shell is a curved shell.
Accordingly, the two-sided LED lamp of the present invention is provided with
the
rear chip plate at the rear end of the lamp shell so as to centralize the
lighting at the
front end thereof and reinforce the lighting at the rear end thereof. The LED
lamp has
a double-sided lighting function to achieve a better three-dimensional
lighting effect
and can reduce the number of the lamp.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example
only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in FIG. 2 through FIG. 5, the present invention discloses a two-sided
LED lamp structure. The two-sided LED lamp structure comprises a lamp shell 2
having a lamp cap 1, a radiating cover 3 disposed in the lamp shell 2, a front
chip
plate 4 disposed in the radiating cover 3 and electrically connected with the
lamp cap
1, and a lens 5 disposed in front of the front chip plate 4. The front chip
plate 4 is
provided with a light emitting diode 41.
A rear portion of the lamp shell 2 is provided with a rear chip plate 6
electrically
connected with the lamp cap 1. The rear chip plate 6 is provided with a light
emitting
diode. The rear chip plate 6 is located at a rear end of the radiating cover 3
to
cooperate with the radiating cover 3. The rear chip plate 6 is covered with a
light-pervious rear shell 7. The rear shell 7 can be a curved shell to
increase the
illumination range.
The lamp shell 2 has a trumpet-like shape. An outer surface of the lamp shell
2 is

provided with raised ribs 21. An inner surface of the lamp shell 2 is formed
with
grooves corresponding to the raised ribs 21. A rear end of the lamp shell 2 is
mated
with the lamp cap 1 and formed with a stepped surface 22 between the lamp
shell 2
and the lamp cap 1 to fit the rear chip plate 6.
The radiating cover 3 is a metallic sleeve corresponding to an inner cavity of
the
lamp shell 2. An outer surface of the radiating cover 3 is provided with a
plurality of
radiating fins 31. The radiating fins 31 correspond to the grooves of the
raised ribs
21 of the lamp shell 2, respectively. A through hole 31 is defined between
every two of
the fins 31. This arrangement is beneficial to radiate heat for the lamp. A
stepped seat
33 is provided inside the radiating cover 3 to fit the front chip plate 4.
The lens 5 is secured to a front end of the lamp shell 2 so as to position the
radiating cover 3 into the lamp shell 2.
The rear chip plate 6 is an annular member having an opening. The rear chip
plate 6 is fitted on the lamp cap 1 and located on the stepped surface 22 of
the lamp
shell 2 to contact with the rear end of the radiating cover 3, such that the
heat can be
transmitted to the radiating cover 3.
The rear shell 7 is an annular shell to cover the rear chip plate 6 and mate
with
the lamp shell 2.
The lamp shell 2 can be made of a plastic material. The lamp shell 2 is
adapted
to protect the lamp and has a dust-proof function. The lamp shell 2 can be
made of a
metallic material. The raised ribs formed on the outer surface of the lamp
shell 2 can
function as the radiating fins, such that there is no need for the radiating
cover 3. The
front chip plate 4 can be directly disposed in the lamp shell 2.
To assemble the present invention, the lamp cap 1 is secured to the lamp shell
2.
The radiating cover 3 is placed into the lamp shell 2. The front chip plate 4
is secured
in the radiating cover 3. The lens 5 is secured to the front end of the lamp
shell 2.
Finally, the rear chip plate 6 and the rear shell 7 are fitted on the lamp cap
1 and
secured to the rear end of the lamp shell 2.

In summary, the two-sided LED lamp of the present invention can centralize the
lighting at the front end thereof and reinforce the lighting at the rear end
thereof. The
LED lamp has a double-sided lighting function to achieve a better three-
dimensional
lighting effect.
Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described
in
detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements
may be
made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the
appended
claims.
