host, a sensor, communication wire and a corresponding fixing device. The said
device can
be placed in the mailbox by users and access to the operator's network or
wireless network.
It can detect new letters, notify the user by text message and telephone, and
remind the
user by a light. The device is controlled by single chip microcomputer and is
highly scalable.
It can work in a variety of environments and there are no restrictions on the
mailbox.

Description

Note: Descriptions are shown in the official language in which they were submitted.

AN INTELLEIGENT DEVICE FOR MAILBOXES
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to the field of intelligent hardware, in particular to
an intelligent
device which can be retrofitted into a mailbox.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART
Mailboxes are the main tool for families and companies to receive letters.
With the
development of Internet, the e-mail has gradually replaced the function of
traditional
mailboxes, resulting in the decrease of the use of traditional paper letters.
However, in today's
society, the mailbox still plays an important role in our life because there
are still a
considerable number of important documents that need to be delivered through
the paper
mail channels. At present, the main problems for the traditional mailbox are
not easy to check
and no pick-up reminder. The intelligent express cabinet and intelligent
mailbox in the market
are expensive and difficult for installation such that most users choose not
to upgrade the
mailbox and continue to use the traditional mailbox, which also causes users
to easily miss
important letters and has a negative impact on their life and work.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
It is an object of the present invention to provide an intelligent device that
can be
retrofitted into a mailbox in order to solve the problem that the mailbox in
the existing
technology cannot remind the user to pick up letters and the replacement cost
is high, so as
to avoid the user missing important letters.
In order to achieve the above purpose, the invention provides the following
technical
solutions.
An intelligent device that can be retrofitted into a mailbox, which comprises
a host, a
sensor and communication wire.
Further, the said host is provided with a fixing device which is detachably
installed on the
inner side of the mailbox. The said sensor is installed on the inner side of
the mailbox through
the sensor fixtures, and is connected with the host through the communication
wire.
Further, the host comprises a controller, a power supply device, internal
communication
wire and a wireless signal transmitting device. The said sensor detects the
input of letters,
sends the signal to the said controller, and the said controller controls the
wireless signal
transmitting device to send reminder message to the user's mobile phone.
Date Recue/Date Received 2021-06-12

Further, the said controller can be a microcontroller.
Further, the said sensors may be multiple.
Further, the said sensor can be photosensitive resistance, varistor,
photoelectric sensor,
etc.
Further, the said power supply device is a battery box, and the user can
replace the
battery as needed.
Further, the said wireless signal transmitting device can be connected to an
operator's
network or a wireless network.
Further, the invention also comprises a light, which will be on when there is
a letter to be
picked up.
Further, the said reminder message can be sent in one or more forms of short
message,
telephone and software reminder.
The intelligent device retrofitted into the mailbox provided by the invention
can enable
users to upgrade their traditional mailbox to intelligent mailbox in a low-
cost and simple way,
so that users can get the change of the state in the mailbox at the first time
and avoid missing
important mails.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Reference may be made to the accompanying drawings, which illustrate
particular
embodiments by way of example only, and in which:
Fig.1 is a schematic diagram of the overall perspective structure of the
invention.
Fig. 2 is the perspective structure diagram of the detection device of the
invention.
DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
In order to facilitate ordinary technicians in the art to understand and
implement the
invention, the invention is further described in detail in combination with
the drawings and
the preferred embodiment.
Referring first to Fig. 1, an intelligent device retrofitted into the mailbox,
comprising a
host2, a sensor 3, communication wire 4, wherein 1 is the main body of the
mailbox.
As an optional embodiment, the host 2 is provided with a fixing device, which
is
detachably installed on the inner side of the mailbox. The sensor 3 is
installed at the bottom
of the mailbox 1 through the sensor fixture, and is connected with the host 2
through the
communication wire 4.
Date Recue/Date Received 2021-06-12

Referring to Fig. 2, the host 2 comprises a controller 21, a power supply
device 22, an
internal communication wire 23 and a wireless signal transmitting device 24.
The sensor 3
detects the letter input and sends the signal to the controller 21, which
controls the wireless
signal transmitting device 24 to send the reminding information to the user's
mobile phone.
As an optional embodiment, the controller 21 may be a microcontroller.
As an optional embodiment, the sensor 3 may be multiple.
As an optional embodiment, the sensor 3 can be photosensitive resistance,
varistor,
photoelectric sensor, etc.
As an optional embodiment, the wireless signal transmitting device 24 may be
connected
to the operator's network or wireless network.
As an optional embodiment, the power supply device 22 is a battery box, and
the user
can replace the battery as needed.
As an optional embodiment, the invention is also provided with a light, which
is
connected to the controller. When a letter is not taken out, the light will be
on to prompt the
user to pick it up.
As an optional embodiment, the reminder message can be sent in one or more
forms of
short message, telephone and software reminder.
The working steps of the invention are as follows:
Step 1: Start
1.1 Start the system;
1.2 The user accesses and inputs the mobile phone number for receiving the
notification;
1.3 Close the door.
Step 2: Mail delivery
2.1 Open the door and put in the letter.
Step 3: Remind the user
3.1 The sensor 3 detects the input letter and sends a signal to the controller
21;
3.2 The controller 21 receives the signal and notifies the user to pick up the
letter through
the wireless signal transmitting device 24 in the form of short message by
default, and
the light is on.
Date Recue/Date Received 2021-06-12

Step 4: Take out the letter
4.1 The user opens the mailbox and takes out the letter;
4.2 The sensor 3 detects the letter and sends a signal to the controller 21;
4.3 The controller 21 receives the signal and notifies the user that the
letter has been
taken in the form of short message by default through the wireless signal
transmitting
device 24, and the light goes out.
The preceding description contains significant detail regarding the novel
aspects
of the present invention. It should not be construed, however, as limiting the
