SHOPPING BAG
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a bag, and more particularly to a shopping
bag.
2. Description of the Prior Art
The structure of a conventional shopping bag generally includes a bag body
having a
bag mouth, a circular handle rope, a first sticky paper, a second sticky
paper, a first
adhesive layer, a second adhesive layer, a third adhesive layer, and a release
paper. Both
ends of the handle rope are defined as bonding portions, and the middle
section is defined
as a handle portion. The side facing the cavity of the bag body is defined as
an inner side,
and the opposite side is defined as an outer side. The bonding portions of the
handle rope
are bonded and fixed between the first sticky paper and the second sticky
paper through
the third adhesive layer. The outer side of the first sticky paper is bonded
to the inner side
of the bag body close to the bag mouth of the shopping bag through the first
adhesive
layer. The second adhesive layer is coated on the inner side of the second
sticky paper.
The release paper covers the inner side of the second adhesive layer. When not
in use, the
release paper can protect the second adhesive layer so that the two opposing
inner sides
of the bag mouth are in an isolated state. When in use, the release paper is
removed and
the two opposing inner sides of the bag mouth can be bonded together through
the
second adhesive layer to realize the closure of the bag mouth.
The cross-section of the handle rope of this shopping bag is circular. A
thicker third
adhesive layer is required to completely cover the entire circular contour of
the handle
rope for bonding, so as to achieve a better bonding effect. Besides, the
circular
cross-section makes the bonding operation inconvenient, so the bonding
portions of the
handle rope are first bonded and fixed between the first sticky paper and the
second

sticky paper. Then, the first sticky paper is adhered to the inner side of the
bag body. The
structure is more complex, and two sticky papers and three adhesive layers are
required,
and the material cost is high.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to provide a shopping bag that
has a
relatively simple structure and low material cost.
In order to achieve the above objects, the present invention adopts the
following
technical solutions:
A shopping bag comprises a bag body having a bag mouth. Two opposing inner
sides
of the bag body are each provided with a handle rope, a first adhesive layer,
a sticky
paper, a second adhesive layer and a release paper. Two ends of the handle
rope are
defined as bonding portions each in a flat configuration. A middle section of
the handle
rope is defined as a handle portion. The sticky paper is disposed on each of
the two
opposing inner sides of the bag body close to the bag mouth. An outer side of
the sticky
paper and the bonding portions of the handle rope are adhered to a
corresponding one of
the two opposing inner sides of the bag body through the first adhesive layer.
The second
adhesive layer is coated on an inner side of the sticky paper of at least one
of the two
opposing inner sides of the bag body. The release paper covers an inner side
of the
second adhesive layer.
The handle portion of the handle rope is in a flat configuration or a circular
configuration.
The inner side of the sticky paper of each of the two opposing inner sides of
the bag
body is coated with the second adhesive layer and provided with the release
paper.
The second adhesive layer includes adhesive areas and blank areas. The
adhesive
areas are spaced at intervals through the blank areas.
At least one side edge of the second adhesive layer is provided with the blank
areas.

A shopping bag comprises a bag body having a bag mouth. Two opposing inner
sides
of the bag body are each provided with a handle rope, a first adhesive layer,
a sticky
paper and a second adhesive layer. Two ends of the handle rope are defined as
bonding
portions each in a flat configuration. A middle section of the handle rope is
defined as a
handle portion. The sticky paper is disposed on each of the two opposing inner
sides of
the bag body close to the bag mouth. An outer side of the sticky paper and the
bonding
portions of the handle rope are adhered to a corresponding one of the two
opposing inner
sides of the bag body through the first adhesive layer. The second adhesive
layer is
coated on an inner side of the sticky paper of at least one of the two
opposing inner sides
of the bag body. The second adhesive layer is a remoistening adhesive layer.
The handle portion of the handle rope is in a flat configuration or a circular
configuration.
The inner side of the sticky paper of each of the two opposing inner sides of
the bag
body is coated with the second adhesive layer.
The second adhesive layer includes adhesive areas and blank areas. The
adhesive
areas are spaced at intervals through the blank areas.
After adopting the above solution, since the bonding portions at both ends of
the
handle rope of the shopping bag of the present invention are designed to be
flat, the
stability of the contact surfaces is better, and the operation is more
convenient when
bonding. The sticky paper and the bonding portion can be directly adhered to
the
corresponding inner side of the bag body through the first adhesive layer.
Moreover, the
outer contour of the bonding portion can be completely covered, without a
thick adhesive
layer, thereby achieving a better bonding effect. Compared with the prior art,
a sticky
paper layer and an adhesive layer are omitted, and the structure is relatively
simple. The
shopping bag of the present invention not only saves material costs but also
simplifies
the production process.
Preferably, in the present invention, the second adhesive layer includes
adhesive
areas and blank areas. The adhesive areas are spaced at intervals through the
blank areas.

In this way, on the one hand, the amount of adhesive to be used can be
reduced, and the
material cost can be saved. On the other hand, when the bag mouth of the
shopping bag
is to be opened after being closed, the bonding force at the bag mouth of the
shopping
bag can be reduced to open the bag mouth of the shopping bag with ease.
Preferably, in the present invention, at least one side edge of the second
adhesive
layer is formed with the blank areas, so that the release paper is to be torn
off with ease.
Preferably, in the present invention, the second adhesive layer is a
remoistening
adhesive layer. With the characteristics of the remoistening adhesive, the
second adhesive
layer will not have bonding force without water to bond the bag mouth of the
shopping
bag together, so that the release paper can be omitted, and the material cost
is further
saved.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
For the convenience of description, in the present invention, the side facing
the
cavity of a bag body is defined as an inner side, and the opposite side is
defined as an
outer outside.
First Embodiment:
A shopping bag according to a first embodiment of the present invention, as
shown
in FIGS. 1 to 4, comprises a bag body 1 having a bag mouth. Two opposing inner
sides
of the bag body 1 are each provided with a handle rope 2, a first adhesive
layer 3, a
sticky paper 4, a second adhesive layer 5, and a release paper 6. As shown in
FIG. 3, two
ends of the handle rope 2 are defined as bonding portions 21 each in a flat
configuration.
The middle section of the handle rope 2 is defined as a handle portion 22. The
sticky
paper 4 is disposed on each of the two opposing inner sides of the bag body 1
close to the
bag mouth. The outer side of the sticky paper 4 and the bonding portions 21 of
the handle
rope 2 are adhered to the corresponding inner side of the bag body 1 through
the first
adhesive layer 3. The second adhesive layer 5 is coated on the inner side of
the sticky
paper 4 of at least one of the two opposing inner sides of the bag body 1. The
release
paper 6 covers the inner side of the second adhesive layer 5.
After adopting the above solution, since the bonding portions 21 at both ends
of the
handle rope 2 of the shopping bag of the present invention are designed to be
flat, in
installation, the pair of flat, wider surfaces of each bonding portion 21 are
used as the
contact surfaces to be attached to the sticky paper 4 and the bag body 1,
respectively. The
stability of the contact surfaces is better, and the operation is more
convenient when
bonding. The sticky paper 4 and the bonding portions 21 can be directly
adhered to the
corresponding inner side of the bag body 1 through the first adhesive layer 3.
Moreover,
the outer contour of the bonding portion can be completely covered, without a
thick
adhesive layer, thereby achieving a better bonding effect. Compared with the
prior art, a
5

sticky paper layer and an adhesive layer are omitted, and the structure is
relatively simple.
The shopping bag of the present invention not only saves material costs but
also
simplifies the production process.
In the present invention, the handle portion 22 of the handle rope 2 may be in
a flat
configuration or a circular configuration. The main body of the handle rope 2
may be a
circular configuration and the portion adjacent to the bonding portion 21 may
be in a flat
configuration. In this way, a slight deviation in height can also ensure that
the portion
corresponding to the sticky paper 4 is flat for installation.
In the present invention, the inner side of the sticky paper 4 may be coated
with the
second adhesive layer 5 and provided with the release paper 6.
Preferably, in the present invention, the second adhesive layer 5 includes
adhesive
areas 51 and blank areas 52. The adhesive areas 51 are spaced at intervals
through the
blank areas 52. Each adhesive area 51 may be in the shape of a diagonal stripe
as shown
in FIG. 1, or in the shape of a dot as shown in FIG. 2, or other shapes, as
long as the
adhesive areas 51 are spaced at intervals. In this way, on the one hand, the
amount of
adhesive to be used can be reduced, and the material cost can be saved. On the
other
hand, when the bag mouth of the closed shopping bag is to be opened, the
bonding force
at the bag mouth of the shopping bag can be reduced, so as to open the bag
mouth of the
shopping bag with ease.
Preferably, in the present invention, at least one side edge of the second
adhesive
layer 5 is formed with the blank areas 52, so that the release paper is to be
torn off with
ease.
In this embodiment, the second adhesive layer 5 may adopt pressure-sensitive
adhesive or other adhesives.
Second Embodiment:
FIGS. 5 to 8 illustrate a shopping bag according to a second embodiment of the
present invention. The second embodiment is substantially similar to the first
6

CA 03122626 2021-06-09
embodiment with the exceptions described hereinafter. The second adhesive
layer 5 is a
remoistening adhesive layer, and the release paper is omitted. With the
characteristics of
the remoistening adhesive, the second adhesive layer 5 will not have bonding
force
without water to bond the bag mouth of the shopping bag together, so that the
release
paper can be omitted, and the material cost is further saved.
The present invention is not only applicable to paper shopping bags but also
applicable to shopping bags of other materials.
The technical content and technical features of the present invention have
been
disclosed as above, and the number of parts of the present invention is not
limited to the
.. above. Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been
described in
detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements
may be made
without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
Accordingly, the
present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
