Description
Title: Support system for the storage and display of storage containers
Background of the Invention
The present invention relates in general to storage solutions for containers
holding various items such
as spices, buttons, small art supplies, etc. In particular, the present
invention relates to an improved
storage method that also allows storage containers to be securely held on a
plane that allows the
storage container to utilize often neglected vertical storage space, while
simultaneously displaying the
contents of the storage container in an expeditious, efficient and aesthetic
way.
Various iterations of racks and storage solutions are numerous is size and
shape.
Description of the Preferred Embodiment
With reference to Fig. 1, Support system for the storage and display of
storage containers (hereafter
apparatus) according to the present invention is designated numeral 10.
= An apparatus used to hold a storage container (like a Mason jar) in an
inclined position that
allows containers to be stored securely on the apparatus while the support
system is affixed or
displayed on an adjacent surface.
= The preferred embodiment of this apparatus is to hold a storage container
within a relieved
area(s) that cradles the opening of the storage container, while the rest of
the storage container
rests within the angled portions of the apparatus.
= This preferred apparatus can be arranged in a single or multiple
container arrangement. A
combination or multitude of the support system will allow for many units of
container to be
stored or displayed while utilizing vertical storage space
= The apparatus may be made by a single piece or multiple pieces of an
appropriate material or
materials, that can be made to hold a dedicated angles and radii
= Fashioned so that one portion of apparatus can be fixed or mounted to a
fixed or moveable
surface through various methods
= Fashion is such a way that the storage system can be scaled to accept
containers of various sizes
= A different portion of the apparatus is shaped in such a way to receive a
storage container and
restrain the container from sliding off of the apparatus
= The subsequent surfaces support the storage container in such a way that
the detrimental
stresses are insulated the storage container
= May incorporate a material that when affixed to the support system, may
be used to isolate the
support system from the storage container and insulate the hard surfaces
between the support
system and the storage container
= Other uses and arrangements could also be employed
