Abstract of the Disclosure
A container especially designed for disposal of
chewing gum. The container has a base, an upright member, a decorative
housing with a trash receiving container therein, and a top. The top
has an opening therein covered by a trap door. Movement of the trap door
to uncover the opening will cause a bell to ring.

Revendications

The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive
property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:
1. A container adapted for use to receive trash and
particularly chewing gum to be disposed of, said container
comprising:
a) a base,
b) an upright member positioned on said base,
c) a shelf member on said upright member, said
upright member having an upper and lower end with the shelf
member positioned on the upper end of the upright member and
the base positioned on the lower end of the upright member,
d) a housing positioned on said shelf member, said
housing having a hollow interior and open ends,
e) a trash receiving means in the interior of said
housing, said trash receiving means being a trash receptacle
with an open upper end and placed within said housing and
positioned on said shelf member,
f) a top positioned on the housing, above the trash
receiving means, said top having an opening means therein to
receive trash for depositing in said trash receiving means, said
opening means in said top being covered by a movable trap door,
said movable trap door is operatively connected by a lever means
to a bell means whereby opening of the trap door to uncover the
opening means in said top will ring the bell means, and
g) said shelf member and said top having raised wall
means which both engage the interior of the housing ends.

The invention is directed to a trash cont~iner,
particularly a trash container designed ror chewing gum and like
material.
Description of the Prior Art

The container herein i5 relatively small and
attracti~e. It has a top that will stay 0109ed, It i9 do~igned to attract
children who are great users of chewing gum and ~t will encourage
children to use the container rather than throw the chewing gum on the
ground. ~
