English Abstract

ABSTRACT
"IN A HOLDER FOR SUPPORTING REPORTS, IT IS KNOWN TO BE
ABLE TO SUPPORT AND HOLD REPORTS ON SEVERAL ELEVATED ANGLES
FOR EASY READING AND WRITING PURPOSES.
THIS CLEAR PLASTIC ILLUMINATED SUPPORT FOR REPORTS HAS A
CLEAR PLASTIC BAR ON ITS LATERAL SUPPORT WHICH PREVENTS THE
REPORT FROM SLIDING DOWN.
THE BAR CAN BE RE-POSITIONED ON ANY ONE OF THREE DIFFERENT
ELEVATED HEIGHTS. THIS HOLDER HAS A LIGHT WHICH IS FASTENED
AT THE EXTREME TOP FOR EASY READING AND WRITING ABILITY.
IN THIS INVENTION, ANOTHER CLEAR PLASTIC BAR SITUATED ON ITS
VERTICAL SUPPORT, BELOW THE LIGHT, HAS THE CAPABILITY OF
SLIDING UP OR DOWN AND HAS THE ABILITY TO BE LIFTED UPWARDS
ONTO THE REPORT TO KEEP THE PAGES IN PLACE IF DESIRED."

CLAIM
"THE EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION IN WHICH AN EXCLUSIVE
PROPERTY OR PRIVELEGE IS CLAIMED ARE DEFINED AS FOLLOWS:"
1) AN ILLUMINATED SELF-SUPPORTING TRANSPARENT PLASTIC DEVICE
HAVING ONE SOLID SURFACE AT VARIOUS PERMANENT ANGLES TO
FORM FOUR DIFFERENT SECTIONS USED FOR SUPPORTING REPORTS
AND OTHER MULTIPLE DOCUMENTS, A FIRST SECTION BEING THE
BASE OF THE INVENTION USED TO KEEP THE DEVICE IN TACK AND
TO STORE DOCUMENTS, A SECOND SECTION BEING THE CORNER
HAVING SEVERAL ANGLES FOR WHICH TO FORM THE OTHER TWO
SECTIONS INTO A GRADUAL INCLINE, A THIRD SECTION BEING THE
SUPPORT FOR DOCUMENTS TO LAY ON WHICH IS SET ON A GRADUAL
INCLINE MAKING VIEWING AND WRITING ABILITY EASIER AND ALSO
HAVING A FREE MOVING TRANSPARENT PLASTIC BAR WHICH CAN BE
HORIZONTALLY PLACED AT ANY ONE OF THREE POSITIONS THUS
RESTING ON THE SUPPORT TO DISALLOW THE DOCUMENTS FROM SLIDING
OFF THE SUPPORT STRUCTURE, A FOURTH SECTION BEING THE DORSAL
OF THE INVENTION USED AS A MEANS TO REST DOCUMENTS AGAINST IT
DUE TO THE SECTION BEING ANGLED OFF TO A MUCH GREATER INCLINE
THAN THE PREVIOUS SECTION AND ALLOWS DOCUMENTS TO BE FIRMLY
SECURED AGAINST IT BY MEANS OF A TRANSPARENT PLASTIC BAR
HORIZONTALLY SLIDING UP AND DOWN AND HAVING THE CAPABILITY
OF PULLING THE BAR UP AND DOWN ONTO THE DOCUMENTS AS WELL AS
HAVING A MANUALLY OPERATED ELECTRIC LIGHT NOT INVENTED BY
MYSELF BUT MERELY FASTENED AT THE TOP OF THIS SECTION FOR AN
OVERALL BETTER VIEWING ABILITY.

1~L?~3~,
SPECIFICATION
"THIS INVENTION SOMEWHAT RELATES TO A MANUALLY OPERABLE
ADJUSTABLE ONE PAGE HOLDER."
"IT IS KNOWN IN SOME DEVICES FOR HOLDING ONE PAGE OF INFORMATION
AND HOLDING THE PAGE BY A PLASTIC STRIP, E.G BY AN ADJUSTABLE
ARM WHICH MOVES UP OR DOWN AND IS CLAMPED TO A DESK TOP OR TABLE
TOP. HOLDERS OF THIS TYPE ARE, HOWEVER INEFFICIENT BECAUSE YOU
CAN ONLY APPLY A MINIMAL AMOUNT OF WEIGHT ON THEM, YOU CAN ONLY
VIEW ONE PAGE OF INFORMATION AT A TIME AND A BI5 ENOUGH GROOVE
IS NEEDED IN ORDER TO CLAMP THESE HOLDERS."
"I HAVE FOUND THAT THESE DISADVANTAGES MAY BE OVERCOME BY
INTRODUCING THE NEW PORTABI,E TRANSPARENT PLASTIC HOLDER FOR
SUPPORTING REPORTS. THIS HOLDER IS CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING VERY
TIIICK REPORTS AND SEVERAL PAGES OF INFORMATION CAN BE SPREAD
OVER 'I`WO ELEVATED ANGLES FOR EASY VIEWING AND WRITING ABILITY.
THIS TRANSPARENT PLASTIC HOLDER IS OF LIGHT WEIGHT AND CAN BE
PLACED ON ANY DESK TOP OR TABLE TOP. THIS HOLDER ELIMINATES THE
OVERHEAD ARRANGEMENTS AND MAKE IT EASIER T0 WRIGHT ON. THIS LIGHT
WEIGHT PORTABhE TRANSPARENT PLASTIC HOLDER CAN BE USED FOR MANY
MULTIPURPOSES, SUCH AS SUPPORTING COMPUTERIZED REPORTS, CODING
COMPUTER PROGRAMS, WRITING LETTERS, ART DRAWING, DRAFTING BLUE
PRINTS AND CAN ALSO BE USED FOR GIVING SPEECHES. THIS INVENTION
REDUCES EYE STRAIN BECAUSE A LIGHT IS SITUATED AT THE EXTREME
TOP OF THE STRUCTURE TO MAKE IT EASIER TO SEE."
"IN THE DRAWING WHICH ILLUSTRATES THE EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION,
FIGURE 1 IS A SIDE VIEW PARTLY IN SECTION OF ONE EMBODIMENT,
FIGURE 2 IS A TRANSPARENT PLASTIC BAR TO STOP THE REPORT FROM
SLIDING DOWN AND IS SHOWN ON A SIDE VIEW IN FIGURE 1 LINE 8 AND
ON A FRONT VIEW IN FIGURE 3 LINE 8, FIGURE 3 IS THE FRONT VIEW
OF THIS EMBODIMENT."
"THE TRANSPARENT PLASTIC SUPPORT FOR REPORTS COMPRISES OF A
PULL OVER TRANSPARENT PLASTIC BAR 19 WHICH SLIDES UP AND DOWN OR
PULL UP AND DOWN ONTO THE REPORT TO KEEP THE PAGES IN PLACE.
TMIS BAR 19 IS SECURED BY TWO FLAT WASHERS 23, A WING NUT 21, A
COMPRESSION SPRING 20, A HEX BOLT 22 AND A CLEAR PLASTIC KNOB 17."
"THIS INVENTION IS COMPRISED OF ANOTHER TRANSPARENT PLASTIC BAR 8
WHICH STOPS THE REPORT FROM SLIDING DOWN. THIS BAR CAN BE
POSITIONED IN ANY ONE OF THREE HOLES 10 FOR DIFFERENT REPORT
HIGHTS. BAR 8 CONSISTS OF TWO CLEAR PLASTIC KNOBS 17 TO LIFT THE
TRANSPARENT PLASTIC BAR AND A NUT 6 TO HOLD THE BOI.T 7 IN POSITION."

"THIS INVENTION HAS A READING LIGHT 13 WHICH IS FASTENED AT THE
TOP OF THE REPORT HOLDER FOR EASIER READING ABILITY. THE READING
LIGHT IS FASTENED BY TWO BOLTS 15, TWO WASHERS 26 AND TWO NUTS 27.
(NOTE THAT THE READING LIGHT 13 AND THE LIGHT CLAMP 25 ARE NOT
INVENTED BY MYSELF, BUT PURCHASED)."
"IN ORDER TO HAVE EASY VIEWING AND WRITING ABILITY, SEVERAL
ANGLES WERE MADE TO AID THE USERS MAKE THEIR JOB EASIER.
ANGLE 11 IS MADE SO THAT THE UPPER LEVEL SUPPORT DESCRIBED BY
LINE 12 IS MORE ON ANGLE SO THAT THE USER CAN EASILY VIEW THE
INFORMATION AT EYE LEVEL. ANGLE 5 IS CREATED AT A LESSER ANGLE
THAN LINE 11. THIS ANGLE IS SET SO THAT THE LATERAL SUPPORT 9
SUPPORTS THE REPORT AT STOMACH LEVEL, IN TURN MAKING THE USERS
WRITING ABILITY EASIER AND MORE COMFORTABLE."
"THIS PORTABLE INVENTION IS COMPRISED OF SEVERAL COMPONENTS
SUCH AS FOUR SELF-STICKING ADHESIF BUTTONS 2, WHICH ARE USED
TO STOP THE STRUCTURE FROM SLIDING ON SMOOTH SURFACES.
TWO RECTANGULAR TRANSPARENT PLASTIC REPORT GUIDES 18 ARE USED
TO GUIDE THE REPORT INTO POSITION, SO THAT THE REPORT DOES NOT
REST OVERTOP OF GROOVE 24. LINE 24 IS A CUT-OUT GROOVE WHICH
ABLES THE TRANSPARENT PLASTIC BAR 19 TO FREELY SLIDE UP AND
DOWN. LINE 4 IS CREATED AT A SPECIAl HEIGHT SO THAT WHEN THE
ELBOW RESTS ON THE DESK TOP, THE ARM LIES EVEN ON SUPPORT 9
WHICH MAKES WRITING EASIER. FINALLY, LINES 14 AND 1 ARE THE
BASE OF THE INVENTION WHICH STOPS THE INVENTION FROM TIPPING
OVER WHEN ALOT OF WEIGHT IS APPLIED ON IT. ANY KIND OF REPORTS
OR PAPERS CAN ALSO BE STORED IN THE BASE OF THIS INVENTION."
