Abstract In Duplicate

A mask protectant for protecting face masks. It is known to have
adhesive around the perimeter of the polyester material to enable the mask
protectant to be adhered to the outside surface of the mask. In this pro-
tectant it is secured by pressing the outside of the protectant down onto
the face mask protector. Thus securing the protectant to the surface for
purpose of protecting the mask from scratches and scuffs.

Speclfications:
I ask that the commissioner of pa-tents grant Greg A. Gauthier a
patent on the following specifications.
The product in which i am submit-ting, is a product to protect face
masks and face visors. This protector will be used on hockey masks
motorcycle visors and any product in which this mask protection can
be used.
~xample:
A- Itech hockey masks, and any hockey mask which is clear
plastic.
B- Motorcycle face sheilds of any make and model.
The product which i have selected for the face mask protection is
a material called polyester D type, which is perfectly clear and
very tuff. This material will be cut to suit the shape of different
masks. On this ( polyester ) there will be a adhesive applied around
the perimeter approximately 1/4 inch. This adhesive will water based
and if needed solvent based. The purpose of the adhesive is for the
application of polyester protection onto the mask being used.
~s soon as the mask protection becomes scratched or scuffed -the user
can remove the application and simply apply a new piece of polyester
protection.
The application is very simple. The user applying the polyester
protectant has to clean the surface of the mask with a cloth. Then
very simply apply the product to the surface of the mask making sure
he or she presses down the perimeter of the protectant down with
finger tips to make sure product is intact.
The polyester protectant will then give the user a very clear and
perfectly sa~.protetion for there face masks. And when -the protectant
becomes scratched, the user simply tears product off and apply a
new peice. -`
The purpose of developing this product is to save the consumer money
on buying new masks frequintly . Or worse no-t buying a new mask
because of cost, forcing the user to use a mask that impares their
vision putting their safety at risk. And the safety of others.
~ NOTE: Product is designed for use on new masks.
