English Abstract

2121779 9404638 PCTABS00030
The subject of the invention is the method of the antifriction
agent manufacture and the antifriction agent itself. The method of
the antifriction agent manufacture is based on, that to the
necessary quantity of particles of colloidal dispersion of copper or
vanadium or chromium or cobalt or nickel or their oxides or their
combinations a liquid medium, at the best low viscosity oil, and
a surface active agent, at the best oleic acid, and a liquid
medium, at the best aminobenzoic acid, are added and mixed
thoroughly, keeping to proper proportions. The antifriction agent contains
1x10-2 to 2.2x10-4 atoms or ions of the pure metal,
0.5x10-2 to 1.1x10-4 of surface active agent (at the best oelic acid)
and advantageously 2.75x10-6 to 2.5x10-4 of aminobenzoic
acid.

Patent claims

1. The method of the antifriction agent manufacture on the base of the
particles of colloidal dispersion of copper or vanadium or chromium or cobalt ornickel or their oxides or their combinations, distinguished by the fact that to the
necessary quantity of particles of colloidal dispersion of copper or vanadium orchromium or cobalt or nickel or their oxides or their combinations a liquid medium
is added, at the best low viscosity oil, in such a proportion that per two parts by
weight of coloidal particles of pure metal there's one to two parts by weight ofliquid medium, and the ingredients it are mixed at the same time. Then a
stabilizing surface active agent, oleic acid at the best, is added, so per two parts
by weight of colloidal particles of pure metal there is one to two parts by weight of
the liquid medium and 0.8 to 1.5 parts by weight of the surface active agent,
mixing the ingredients, and then the liquid medium and, at the best,
aminobenzoic acid are added until such ratio is obtained where per two parts by
weight colloidal particles of pure metal there's 2.0 to 47 parts by weight of the
liquid medium. 0.8 t o 1: 5 parts by weight of surface active agent and 2.5x10-2 to
5.0x10-2 parts by weight of the aminobenzoic acid.
2. The antifriction agent on a base of the particles of colloidal dispersion of
copper or vanadium or chromium or nickel or theri oxides or their combinations,
characterized by, that it contains 1x10 -2 to 2.2x10 -4 atoms or ions of pure metal.
0.5x10 -2 to 1.1x10 -4 of surface active agent, at the best oleic acid, and mostfavourably 2.75x10 -? to 2.5x10 -4 of aminobenzoic acid in ratio to its weight.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF AN ANTIFRICTION AGENT AND ANTIFRICTION AGENT
-
.
The subject of the invention is the me~od of the antifriction agent
anufacture and the antifric~on agent, made on a base of the particles of colloidal
-dispersion of copper or vanadium or chromium or cobalt or nickel or their oxides
or their combinations. There are known additions to the lubricating media, mostly
containing powders of tin(Su), copper(Cu), lead(Pb), zinc(Zn) or other metals,
contents of which improves the characteristics which have an influence on the
~performance of plastic or liquid lubricants, thereby reducing friction andwear of
co-acting~ parts~and~at the~same time raising their electrical conductivity.
~ There~ are also known additions to fuels which have anti-smoke
properties,~ decreasing the level of noXIous substances in exhaust gases,
especially in compmsion-ignition~ engines. Besides, there's known an addition ~-
to fue!s ~which contains iron oxides Yhoroughly mixed with fuel. The optimum
conte~ Qf iron oxides in fu*l is 0.01 to 0.1 % of the fuel's weight, what allows to `~
~uce fhe fo~rnation of soot by 21 ~6. However, the anti-smoke proper~es of this - `
additisn ~are poor and there's a disadvantage of a lack of anti-slide properties,
what limitsits~broad applicaffon~
From the Polish description of the invehtion application No. P-293400,
~there is a known method of producing an addition, especiallytothe lubricating
media, c~ttin9 fluids and fuels on the base of particles of colloidal dispersion of
copper ~r~vanadium~or chromium or cobalt or nickel or their oxides or their
combinabons,~acc~ to the invention where the method is, that to the necessary ~-
àmount of the pàr~c!es of the colloidial dispersion of copper or vanadium or
chromium or cobalt or nickel or their oxides or their combinations ~ a liquid
medium is added, at the best a low viscosity oil, so that per every two parts by ;~
weight of colioidal particle~ of Ip~re metal there is one par~ by weight of the liquid ^l
medium. T~en the ingredients are miXed. After ~at, a surface active ' agent is
added, at the best olaic acid, so that per every two part~ by weight of colloiclal
p~rticles of pure metal there is one part by weight of the liquid medium and 0.8 to
t .5 parts by weight of surface active agent. Then the ingredients are mixed. Then
the liquid medium is addedtoobtainsuch a proportion in which per two parts
by w~ight of colloidal particles of pure metal there are two parts by weight of liquid
medium and 0.8 to 1.5 parts byweightof surface active agent. Theaddition, -~
especiallyto lubricating media, cuffing tool lubricants and fuel, acc. to the ~-

nickel or their oxldes or their combinations contains the percentage concentration
of pure metal~ a~oms or ions in addition to the weight of lubricating media,
cutting-tool lubricants or fuelsfrom 1x10 -2 to2.2x10~ . The purpose of the
invention is the development of the method of manuf3cturing the antifri~tion agent
and the antifriction age~Qlf, w~ah increases the seNice life of co-acting parts. The method of me antifriction agent production on a basis of the particles of
colloidal dispersion of copper orvanadium or chromium or cobalt or nickel or
their oxides or their combir~ations, according to the invention, depends on that to
the necessary quantity of the particles of colloidal dispersion of copper or
vanadium or chromium or cobalt or nickel or their oxides or their combinations aliquid medium is added, at the best, lowviscosityoil, so that pertwo parts by
weight of colloidal particles of pure metal there's one to two par~s by weight of
