S~ificalion
(1) This invention relates to a manually operated tool for scraping small surfaces-.
(2) It is common in devices for scraping small surfaces to have the scraping edge
mounted on a keychain or in the other extreme a large handle~.
Tools of this type are, however inefficient because either the handle is too short
as in the case of a keychains to apply sufficient force or in the other extreme too bulky
to do fine scraping work.
(3) I have found that these disadvantages may be overcome by mounting the scraper
tip on a ~I:spos~ e pen body. Such a holder permits the user to firmly grasp the scraper
and transfer greater force onto the scraping edge while still being compact for fine work~.
(4) In drawing which illustrate embodiments of the invention
Figure 1 is a cross-sectional view and an exploded view of embodiment~.
The tool illustrated comprises of a disposable pen assembly including a cap (1),barrel (2), ink cartridge (3). Installed in the opposite end of the barrel is the scraper tip
(4). For transport the scr~per tip is covered by the cap. To use, firmly hold the barrel
pressing the edge of the scraper tip against the surface to be scra,~l.
