ABSTRACT 13E OF DISCLOSURE A1. The invention concerns alloy 7000s with high strength obtained through conventional metallurgy and a process for producing same. According to the invention, the alloys contain (in % weight) between 7 and 13.5 ~ Zn, between 1 and 3.8 Mg of O, ~ at 2.7 Cu, between 0 and 0.5 Mn, between 0 and 0.4 Cr and between 0 and 0.2 Zr, others up to 0.05 each and 0.15 total, remainder A1, obtained through conventional metallurgy and are characterised in that in their treated state, the specific energy associated to the DSC fusion signal is less than 3J/g (and ideally 2J/g) in absolute value. Their elastic limit exceeds 750 MPa and even 780 MPa. The d°obtention process consists either in casting a moulded part, placing it in a hardening tempering solution, or in casting a blank, its homogenisation, then hot- and optionally cold- transformation, placing it in a tempering solution, an optional controlled cold-deformation and final hardening. Homogenisation is carried out at a temperature as high as possible, while avoiding that the alloy begins fusion and for a duration such that the specific energy associated to the DSC fusion signal is less than 3J/g (and ideally 2J/g) in absolute value.
PRÉCIS 13E LA DIVULGATIOA1 L'invention concerne les alliages 7000 à haute rêsistance mêcanique obtenus par métallurgie conventionnelle et un procédé d'obtention de ceux- ci. Les alliages selon l'invention contiennent (en poids % ) de 7 à 13 , 5 ~ Zn, de 1 à 3 , 8 Mg, de 0 , ~ à 2,7 Cu, de 0 à 0,5 Mn, de 0 à 0,4 Cr et de 0 à 0,2 Zr, autres jusqu'à 0,05 chacun et 0,15 au total, reste A1, obtenu par métallurgie conventionnelle et sont caractérisés en ce qu'à l'état traité, l'énergie spécifique associée au signal AED de fusion est inférieure à 3J/g (et de préfêrence 2J/g) en valeur absolue. Leur limite élastique dépasse 750 MPa et même 780 MPa. Le procêdê d°obtention consiste soit en la coulée d'une pièce moulée, sa mise en solution, trempe et revenus) soit en ia coulée d'une ébauche, son homogénéisation, sa transformation à chaud et éventuellement à froid, une mise en solution, une trempe, une déformation à froid contrôlêe éventuelle et revenu final. L'homogénêisation est pratiquêe à une température aussi êlevée que possible mais en évitant la fusion commençante de l'alliage et pour une durée telle que l'énergie spécifique associêe au signal AED de fusion est inférieure à 3J/g (et de préférence 2J/g) en valeur absolue.
