English Abstract

A molded object includes an inner reinforcing
member and a cover layer pressed and secured to the
reinforcing member. The cover layer is made of powder
material which is mixed with adhesive material for
securing to the reinforcing member. The reinforcing
member includes a base and a neck portion for forming a
base and a neck portion for the molded object. The
reinforcing member includes a spherical shape for
forming a spherical shape for the molded object.

THE EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION IN WHICH AN EXCLUSIVE
PROPERTY OR PRIVILEGE IS CLAIMED ARE DEFINED AS FOLLOWS:
1. A molded object comprising:
an inner reinforcing member, and
a cover layer pressed and secured to said
reinforcing member, said cover layer being formed of
powder material.
2. A molded object according to claim 1, wherein
said reinforcing member includes a base and a neck
portion for forming a base and a neck portion for said
molded object.
3. A molded object according to claim 1, wherein
said reinforcing member includes a spherical shape and
includes a ball engaged in said spherical reinforcing
member.

Description

MOLDED OBJECT ~AVING REINFORCING MEMBER
The invention relates to a molded object having a
reinforcing member.
Typical sculptures or artificial objects are made
05 of solid wood, copper or metal materials, or stones. A
portion of the wood or stone materials will be cut off
from the raw material before the sculptures are formed.
The removed materials should be discarded and may not
be used. It takes a long time for sculpturing one
product which may not be manufactured quickly.
The invention is to provide a molded object made
of waste material and having a reinforcing member.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a molded object;
FIG. 2 is a cross sectional view taken along lines
2-2 of FIG. 1;
FIGS. 3, 4, 5 are perspective views illustrating
three types of the molded objects;
FIGS. 6, 7, 8 are perspective views illustrating
the reinforcing members of the molded objects as shown
in FIGS. 3, 4, 5 respectively; and
FIG. 9 is a cross sectional view illustrating the
mold device for forming the molded object.
Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a molded object 10
comprises a reinforcing member 11 provided in the inner
portion and a cover layer 12 of wood powder, metal
powder or stone powder. In FIG. 9, the powder material
for forming the cover layer 12 is mixed with adhesive

material and/or solidifying agent and is disposed in
the mold cavities 91 of the mold device 90. The
reinforcing member 11 is engaged in the powder material
which is solidly secured to the reinforcing member 11
05 after pressing process. The waste powder material may
thus be used to form beautiful molded objects.
In FIGS. 3 and 6, the reinforcing member 21 may
include a base 23 and a neck portion 22 so as to form a
base 25 and a neck portion 24 for a molded object 20.
In FIGS. 4 and 7, a ball 33 of waste material may be
engaged in the spherical reinforcing members 31, 32
before a cover layer 35 is pressed to the reinforcing
members 31, 32 so as to form a spherical shaped object
30. The reinforcing members 31, 32 include a base
portion 34 for forming the base portion 36 of the
object 30. In FIGS. 5 and 8, the cover layer 40 may be
secured to the outer peripheral portion of the
reinforcing member 41 which includes a desired shape.
