English Abstract

The invention refers to the joints of the roller blind-, roller grille-, roller shutter profiles which increase
the safety standard of roller blinds because of their specific shape and therefore operate without
additional locking device.
According belonging to the invention, the cross sections of the joints show a spiral shape with a specific
curvature belonging to the invention. Therefore the spiral shape is created by the design of the inside
bends and outside bends of each analysed spiral part which enclose with certain opening widths the
respective joint capsules of the profiles. Because of the specific spiral of the core- and link
profiles which are liked with each other and because of the twisting of the spiral joints by an angle of
180° the unauthorized attempt of pushing up of the roller blind results in a jamming of the profile
elements that leads to the locking of the roller blind.

Summary
~ invention refers to a roller blind that is designed for the use in the field of domestic-,
~re-, business-, bank- and industrial building.
~invention is distinguished by the fact that because of the arrangement of the roller
~ents as well as because of the use of specifically shaped core profiles and link profiles
self-securing effect against unauthorized pushing up of the roller elements is achieved.
according to the invention this is achieved because the roller elements are combined of
~r profiles, single- or double- walled link profiles and bottom profiles with rubber seal
profiles. At the core and link profiles are linked to each other joint-like, so that an upper
- or hinge part is twisted against the lower joint- or hinge part of the same moving joint
an angle of 180°, whereby the following joint capsules of the profiles next to each other
~n toward each other in the opposite direction to hold the succeeding profile in such a
that is still can be swivelled, but not unhooked. Structureal the core profiles function as
~ntial coupling elements for each of the link profiles and cause in its completely lowered
~ and the unauthorized pushing up the self-locking of the roller blind by down-turning of
