<<On a motorcycle, when starting or stopping and to avoid dropping the motorcycle on its side, the balance of the motorcycle must be maintained with the feet. In this invention, the feet are replaced by a stabiliser. Visually, it may be compared to the landing gear of an airplane. It features two arms on which there are two small wheels which will come into contact with the ground to maintain the balance of the motorcycle when starting or stopping. In addition, it may be used as a stand when the motorcycle is at a complete stop or stored. The stabiliser may be deployed either manually, using a switch, or in automatic mode, while respecting the following two conditions: the transmission is in neutral and the front brake is engaged, at which point the stabiliser will be automatically deployed when the need arises and be retracted in the same manner. >>
