English Abstract

It is common practise that pistons are machined or made from solid metal.
Novelty of invention is
hollow piston that is filled with liquid. It is known fact that pressure is
transferred differently in
solids and liquids. This invention uses liquid to transfer pressure from one
side of piston to
another. Force is applaud on piston as it is common practise with hydraulic or
pneumatic systems.
Invention can be used in any hydraulic or pneumatic system.

Claims

Note: Claims are shown in the official language in which they were submitted.

CLAIM

What is claimed in case of machine:

1. Machine that works on principle of Pascal's law and hollow piston fild with
fluid and has
following characteristics:
a) hollow piston can be in any shape and size,
b) it is capable to withstand high pressures
c) there is opening on one side of hollow piston so force from outside acts
directly on
liquid in hollow piston.

2. Any machine or apparatus of claim 1, including compresors and pumps that
uses hollow
piston(s) filled with fluid together with application of Pascal's and Boyle's
Law.

Claim in case of process;
1. Process of generating pressure inside container or piston filled with
liquid and transfer that
pressure to outside of container or piston
2. Process as defined in claim1 and pressurised fluid that will move solid
piston in same system as
piston filled with liquid.
3. Process defined in claim 2 were negative force or pressure generated by
piston filled with liquid
is cancelled and usfull work and energy is produced.
4. Any process where hollow piston(s) filled with fluid is used in application
of Pascal's and
Boyle's Law.

CA 02332018 2001-O1-23
Specification
Drawing la) describes hydraulic or pneumatic system with hollow piston(20)
that is filled with
liquid inside closed space(100) Liquid piston(20) has opening(30) on one side
so force can be
applied directly on liquid. That way pressure that is generated from
piston(25) at opening(30) is
distributed by same amount at every point in liquid piston(20). As can be seen
from drawing
pressure inside piston will act in all direction and liquid piston(20) is not
going to move in needed
direction. To cancel force acting on area(40) fluid that is at front of liquid
piston(20) needs to be
moved at the beck of area(40). That way pressure on area(40) is cancelled and
area(50) that
receives pressure in needed direction is able to move liquid piston(20) in
desired direction. Liquid
piston(20) that is shaped in form of letter T is able to perform useful work.
Volume of fluid that is
displaced with movement of liquid piston(20) is moving smaller piston(70) on
other side of closed
space( 100)
There can be three different types of liquid piston as described in drawinglb)
1. Liquid piston that is made from cylinder that has opening on both sides. On
one side of
cylinder(80) is connected disc(40). To disc(40) is connected disc(SO) via
small metal pins(55)
That way there is no mantel(90) that connects discs(40) and (50).
2. Same liquid piston(20) only difference is physical connection between
discs(40) and (50). Now
solid mantel(90) is put to connect two discs(40) and (50) instead of pins(55)
3. Other type is liquid piston(20) with disc(60) that is shaped in form of
sphere. That way
volume of fluid that is displaced with liquid piston(20) will be larger.
There are two ways to transfer fluid inside closed space(100). One way is to
drill small hole in
discs(40) and (SO). That way when liquid piston(20) moves fluid inside closed
space(100) will
move from part A to part B through discs(40) and (50). That is only possible
if liquid is used
outside liquid piston(20).Other possibility is described in drawing la) where
fluid in closed
space( 100) is travelling via pipe( 110) that is put outside of space( 100).
