English Abstract

The specification discloses a movable driving system and a motor-snow-scooter
with this
movable driving system. A movable driving system can be moved vertically by
pedal,
whereby to provide suitable advance force to a scooter or a vehicle according
to the driving
state. The movable driving system could be used for different kind scooter or
vehicle by
changing a driving wheel unit. Especially the movable driven system permits a
motor-snow-
scooter to have a good driving function with an ability to reach high speed by
low power, also
a pretty good sliding function as conventional ski on snow or ice.

A track unit or a special nail-wheel as a driving wheel unit of movable driven
system could be
used for a motor-snow-scooter. With this movable driving system, the motor-
snow-scooter
could be used on a loose or slippery ground, like the ground covered with snow
or ice and
could keep a good sliding function as conventional ski or snowboard in the
case necessary,
whereby to reduce the energy consumption and keep the fun of the traditional
ski. Using an
assistant floating unit and a driving water-wheel unit, the motor-snow-scooter
could be
changed to a motor-water-scooter to be used on the water.

A movable driving system includes a motor power unit, a driving wheel unit, a
pedal unit, a
movable support unit with recoverable spring unit and a transmitting unit. The
driving wheel
unit could be a track type unit or a special wheel type unit.

A motor-snow-scooter includes a main frame, a ski assembly including rear skis
or rear
snowboard, a front ski director, a movable driving system and a brake
mechanism.

CA 02347651 2001-05-07
A MOVABLE DRIVING SYSTEM AND A MOTOR-SNOW-SCOOTER WITH THIS
MOVABLE DRIVING SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a movable driving system and a motor-snow-
scooter with this
movable driving system. A movable driving system can be moved vertically by
pedal,
whereby to provide suitable advance force to a scooter or vehicle according to
the driving
state. The movable driving system could be used for various kind scooters or
vehicles by
changing a driving wheel unit. The driving wheel unit could be a track type
unit or a special
wheel type unit.
Some prior attempts were made to provide motor-snow-scooter with a driving
wheel
assembly comprising a track. However, no success for a versatile arrangement
that and is
capable to gain high speed with low power, and no success to keep a good
sliding function
like a conventional ski on various types of grounds, particularly on snow or
ice.
A movable driving system of the present invention could especially provide a
motor-snow-
scooter to have a good driving function with an ability to reach high speed by
low power, and
a pretty good sliding function as conventional ski on snow or ice.
A driving wheel unit of the movable driving system for a motor snow-scooter
could be a track
type unit or a special nail-wheel type unit. With this movable driving system,
a motor-snow-
scooter could be used on a loose or slippery ground, like ground covered with
snow or ice,
and it could keep a good sliding function as conventional ski or snowboard in
the case
necessary, whereby to reduce the energy consumption and to keep the fun of the
traditional
ski. The operation of the motor-snow-scooter with the movable driving system
is very easy.
The volume of the motor-snow-scooter could be minimised to be easily carried.
A motor-snow-scooter of the present invention could be changed to a motor-
water-scooter by
using a special driving wheel unit as a water-wheel unit and an assistant
floating unit,
whereby to permit a motor-snow-scooter to be used on the water.
Thus, one of the objects of the present invention is to provide a movable
driving system
including a motor power unit, a driving wheel unit, a pedal unit, a movable
support unit with
recoverable spring unit, a transmitting unit. The movable driving system can
be moved

CA 02347651 2001-05-07
vertically by a pedal unit. The movable driving system could be used for
different kind
scooter or vehicle by changing a driving wheel unit. The driving unit could be
a track type
unit or a special wheel type unit. Especially the movable driving system could
provide a
motor-snow-scooter to have a good driving function with an ability to reach
high speed by
low power, and a pretty good sliding function as conventional ski on snow or
ice,
Another object of the present invention is to provide a petal unit for the
movable driving
system. The pedal could be connected directly or indirectly to the movable
driving system.
For indirect connection, a said petal unit could be mounted on a main frame of
scooter or
vehicle, a assistant transmitting unit ( not presented in this patent) will be
used.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a motor-snow-scooter
which is installed
with said movable driving system. The motor-snow-scooter includes a main
frame, a ski
assembly including rear ski or rear snowboard and a front ski director, a
movable driving
system, a brake mechanism. The driving wheel unit of the movable driving
system for a motor
snow-scooter could be a track type unit or a special nail-wheel type unit. The
motor-snow-
scooter has a good driving function and a good slide function depending on a
driving state on
snow or ice. The operation of motor-snow-scooter is very easy.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a main frame for a motor-
snow-scooter.
A handlebar of the main frame could be adjusted in the case necessary. The
maim frame can
be folded to minimise the volume and that permit the motor-snow-scooter to be
carned easily.
A further object of the present invention is to provide a brake means
including a rear driving
wheel brake and a brake lever helping the motor-snow-scooter to reduce the
speed in the case
necessary. Both of brake lever and pedal of movable driving system could carry
out the brake
operation.
A further object of the present invention is to provide ski assembly for a
motor-snow-scooter,
including a front ski director and a pair of rear skis or a snowboard to
assure a motor-snow-
scooter to be used on a loose or slippery ground, for example, ground covered
with snow or
ice. Combining with a movable driving system of the present invention, the ski
assembly can
provide a good driving function and a good sliding function for a motor-snow-
scooter.

CA 02347651 2001-05-07
A further object of the present invention is to provide a floating units for
changing a motor-
snow-scooter to a motor-water-scooter. With these floating units and a movable
driving
system with a driving wheel unit as a water-wheel, the motor-snow-scooter
could be changed
to a motor-water-scooter, and could be played on the water.
Further objects and advantages of this invention will be apparent from the
following
description and appended claims, reference being made to the accompanying
drawings
forming a part of the specification, wherein like reference characters
designate corresponding
parts shown in the several views.

It is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to
the details of
construction and arrangement of parts illustrated in the accompanying drawing,
since the
invention is capable of other embodiments and of being practised or carried
out in various
ways within the scope of the claims. Also, it is to be understood that the
phraseology and
terminology employed herein is for the purpose of description and not of
limitation.

connecting the motor sprocket 37 and a rear wheel sprocket 32. The movable
driving system
39 could be mounted on the rear section of main frame 1 of scooter or vehicle
by an axle 26
and recoverable spring unit 24. Using the floating unit 34 that is mounted on
the rear ski
support 10 and on the front ski support 5, the motor-snow-scooter could be
change to a motor-
water-scooter with a driving water-wheel, whereby to permit the motor-snow-
scooter to be
used on the water.
The motor-snow-scooter is called as such because it is primarily designed for
the regions
having snow or ice during cold winter season. However, it is possible to use
the motor-snow-
