DESCRIPTION
This invention relates to a multi-card protector, holder and
dispenser device which is capable of holding a plurality of
cards and effectively dispensing them outwardly one or more
at a time.
The user can easily hold the device in one hand, and with up-
ward pressure from the forefinger applied through the hole in
the rear wall of the device can then raise the plurality of
cards within, in preparation for easy exit, and simultaneously
applying a forward sliding motion and pressure with the thumb
in the slot opening of the top front wall window is able to
produce a cards) from the plurality of stacked cards therein.
The remaining cards are retained within the body of the de-
vice by the top wall and the additional inward pressure of
the flexible front wall.
The dimensional relationship between the exit rail and the
upward pressure of the forefinger and the thumbs forward
sliding pressure provides for an arrangement which allows
only one or a few selected cards at a time to be stripped from
the exit location of the device while effectively maintaining
the remaining cards within the body of the device.
This device can be very inexpensive to manufacture in a one
piece mould, and from a wide array of materials such as card-
board, plastic, metal, and especially recycled materials.

Recycled materials are beneficial since they help protect
our environment.
Business cards are an essential means of communication and
promotion in todays business environment, net working and
social events~making it advantages and necessary for people
to carry a plurality of business cards to distribute in a
professional manner.
Business cards are easily damaged when loosely carried be-
comming frayed, soiled or discoloured, and damaged cards
are very unprofessional.
In the past there have been numerous attempts to provide
hand-held card carriers and dispensers which serve to house
a plurality of cards for dispensing when needed. However,
many such prior art dispensers have not only proven to be
awkward, but are expensive to produce and also quite often
get lost or displaced. Business card dispenser designs in
most cases are complicated to justify manufacturing costs,
awkward to refill, or too expensive to purchase for every-
one. There is therefore a hungry need for an inexpensive
and aesthetically pleasing, easy to load and dispensing
device for protecting, housing and dispensing card like
media.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF TIE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
Referring now to the drawings, and more particularily to
FIG. 1, an angled perspective view of the multi-card protector,
holder and dispenser device of the invention.
As will herein after be more fully described, the invention
provides for a multi-card protector, holder and dispensing
device which is capable of receiving a plurality of cards,
holding them and effectively dispensing them one or more at
a time from the housing of a one piece moulded case.
While held in one hand a person will apply upward pressure
with the forefinger to raise the cards therein in preparation
for exit and simualtaneously initiate a forward sliding pre-
ssure with the thumb, of the same hand, to effectively dis-
pense one or more cards) at a time as shown in sketch FIG.
7 , 15 and 16 .
- Referring now again to FIG. 1 the multi-card protector,
holder and dispenser device which defines a perspective and
angled view with a cavity therein.
It has opposing front 8 and rear FIG. 4 walls. The front
wall 8 has an opening 11. for receiving and dispensing a plur-
ality of cards 13. The body of the housing further includes
opposing side walls FIG. 2, also top FIG. 5 and bottom FIG.
6 opposing walls. Further included in the front 8 wall is a
slot 12 to allow the thumb FIG. 7, 15 and 16 to apply forward
sliding pressure to dispense the cards) 13 out of the window

opening 11, one or more at a time. The hole 10, in the rear
wall FIG. 4. allows the forefinger of a persons hand FIG.
7, 15, to enter and apply upward pressure raising the cards
13 therein to clear the top wall FIG. 5 for an easy outward
exit as shown in sketch FIG. 7, 16.
- Referring now to FIG. 2, the mufti-card protector, holder
and dispenser device which defines a side view with opposing
side walls.
14 is a side view of the front wall 8 in its normal inwardly
resting position, and also to hold the cards 13 therein in
place. 9 is a side view of that same front wall 8, but man-
ually pulled outward to allow easy entry and loading through
space 11 for a pluality of cards 13 into the cavity of the
case FIG. 1. The hole 10. in the rear wall FIG. 4 allows
the forefinger to enter and push the cards 13 up for easy
exit. 13 is a side view of a plurality of cards therein.
Referring now to FIG. 3. the mufti-card protector, holder
and dispenser device is a front view of the invention.
11, is the open front window space to allow easy entry and
exit for a plurality of cards 13. The front wall 8 is flex-
ible and has an open slot 12, to allow a person's thumb FIG.
15 and 16 gripping space and to slide forward to dispense
the cards) 13 one or more at a time. The hole 10 in the rear
wall FIG. 4 is for entry of a persons forefinger FIG. 7, 15

SUMMARY
It can therefore be seen that the mufti-card protector,
holder and dispenser device of the invention does provide
effective means for receiving a plurality of cards, housing
them, and then when required to dispense them one or more at
a time from a cavity of the moulded one piece housing. In

the device is an open window and slot in the front wall and
a hole in the rear wall to allow the co-ordinated manip-
ulation of the thumb and finger on one hand of any person to
neatly and quickly strip a cards) from the top of the stack
of cards without any jamming during the dispensing procedure.
The multi-card protester. holder and dispenser device is
light and compact in size and can be easily and conveniently
carried in numerous places, pockets, hand-held wallets,
brief cases, etc.
The multi-card protector, holder and dispenser device is
mass produced from a mould in one piece, having no parts for
assembly, consequently making it very inexpensive to produce
and very affordable and convenient for everyone.
For these reasons the invention is believed to represent a
significant advancement in the art which does have substan-
cial commercial merit.
While there is shown and described herein certain specific
structure embodying the invention, it will be manifest to
those skilled in the art that various modifications may be
made without departing from the spirit and scope of the un-
derlying inventive concept and that the same is not limited
to the paricular forms shown and described except insofar as
indicated by the scope of the appended claims.
