English Abstract

The objective is to manufacture a screw top (eco-friendly) for disposable
bottles of any
diameter, size, color or model. The idea is that the top does not detach from
the bottle. This
top cannot be removed when discarding the bottle, facilitating its complete
collection (the
top attached to the neck of the bottle), minimizing pollution, and avoiding
its consumption
by wild animals.
The idea is to adapt a handle -of the same material of the bottle- which is
joined
permanently to the ring or security band when opening the bottle.

3
CLAIMS:
I am the sole owner of the idea of the impossible to lose screw top (eco-
friendly) which
consists of:
A cylindrical top, closed on the top to hold liquids and gases contained in
the disposable
bottle, with a screw in its inner wall which allows it to turn right or left
to open or close,
respectively. On its outer wall, it has vertical edges, so it doesn't slip
between the fingers or
hands when unscrewing to open it.
A security ring also constitutes the impossible to lose screw top. This
security ring has in its
inner wall a strip which prevents its going out of the bottle. This strip
should be positioned
obliquely with respect to the ring to rotate the top. It starts getting off
progressively from the
top of the ring until the very bottom, where it is attached to the top with
the band or handle.
Indistinctly, the handle or band of the impossible to lose screw top (eco-
friendly) made up
of the same material (plastic) joins both outer walls of the top with the ring
permanently,
conforming a handle, which allows the top, once open, remains stuck to the
security ring.
This handle or band is strong enough to allow elongation when unscrewing and
opening
the bottle easily to drink the liquid, and then, close it back in case there
is liquid left or
simply not to let it fall on the ground.

1
TECHNICAL BACKGROUND.
Nowadays, the tops of disposable bottles once they are separated from the ring
they are
easy to lose and very difficult to recover them (not all the times they reach
the garbage
dumps). We can see how they arrive to the most unbelievable and unrecoverable,
contaminating the environment.
This new screw top (eco-friendly) is simple and affordable; it allows its
collection because it
is attached to the bottle, something that is impossible with the current tops
because most of
them get into the rivers, lakes, seas, shores, forests, streets, avenues,
stomach of wild
animals and so on.
This new impossible to lose screw top (eco-friendly) will always be reachable
together with
its bottle to which it is attached permanently making easier its collection,
therefore the
result is a less polluted environment, which is totally opposite with the
current top.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DESIGN:
On figure A, we can see the impossible to lose screw top (eco-friendly)
attached to the
security ring by means of a handle or band as short as possible, which
connects the upper
part (the top itself) with the security ring below.
On figure B, we can see how the impossible to lose screw top (eco-friendly)
remains
attached to the security ring once it is separated from the disposable bottle
after opening, it
will always be attached to the security ring by the handle or band.
On figure C, we see the impossible to lose screw top (eco-friendly) in an open
position to
consume the liquid from the disposable bottle; it is always attached to the
security ring by
the handle or band.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
The invention consists of joining the top itself to the security ring with a
handle or band of
the same material, turning the top into an impossible to lose screw top (eco-
friendly). The
band or handle is flexible enough to allow elongation making possible to
unscrew it and
open up the bottle, and then, close it if there is some liquid left to be
consumed later, or just
not to drop it on the floor to pollute the environment.
The ring has a raise strip (crest) along the inner wall in an oblique plane
with respect to it.
The highest section of the crest is attached to the upper border of the ring
and thus, to the
top; and the lowest section of the crest is attached to the lower border of
the ring, in which
the handle or band is (side view as an oblique line). When turning the top to
open it, the
opposed area of the hand or band is separated first, facilitating its opening
without
detaching it from the ring.
