English Abstract

A coverall garment is known to keep an individual clean and protected from
external
contaminates by covering the body and clothing of that individual. In the
process of covering the
body there is normally one point of access where a person can undress from
such coverall. As
such when an individual wearing a coverall or similar product has to relieve
one's self in the
washroom or field they would normally disrobe from the entire garment. An
invention has been
added to the garment allowing an opening in the rear of the garment as a
substitute from
disrobing completely when provide personal relief in the washroom or field.
This will keep the
individual clean, protected and keep the garment off the ground in a better
sanitary condition. A
zipper will close the opening when access is not required and the individual
remains protected
when wearing such a garment.

Claims

Note: Claims are shown in the official language in which they were submitted.

Claim
Current coverall garments do not have a rear access opening and as such when
workers are in the
field and want to relieve themselves in the washroom or field the only option
is to completely
disrobe. In remote and dirty conditions the disrobed garment as well as the
individual is exposed
to dirt and other contaminates once off of the individual. This innovation
will benefit the
worker as they will be able to relieve themselves quicker, keep their clothing
in a better sanitary
condition as they remain covered and allow the majority of the garment to
remain on such
individual keeping the user protected.

Description

Specification
This innovation relates to allowing a rear opening in a coverall or similar
type garment. The
design is in place so that an individual can access the rear area of a body
without disrobing
completely. The usefulness of such an innovation is that when one is in the
field, workplace or
other area where the access of waslupom -facilities is not readily available
one can relieve one's
self without completely disrobing.
A coverall garment is known to keep an individual clean and protected from
external
contaminates by covering the internal body and clothing of that individual. In
the process of
covering the body there is normally one point of access where a person can
undress from such
coverall. As such when an individual wearing a coverall or similar product has
to relieve one's
self they would normally disrobe from the entire garment. An innovation has
been added to the
garment allowing an opening in the rear of the garment as a substitute from
disrobing completely
when relieving one's self in the washroom or field. This is of benefit when
one is out in the field
or remote workplace where private and clean facilities are not available. This
innovation will
allow the user to cover the majority of one's body and keep the garment away
from the ground
while allowing quicker and more sanitary access to personal relief. A zipper
will close the
opening when access is not required and the individual remains protected when
wearing such a
garment. Snaps, buttons, Velcro strips and straps and other similar closure
mechanisms can be
used as well to close the garment when access to the opening is not required.
Drawings have been included that illustrate the invention. Figure 1 is a front
view of a typical
coverall garment. Figure 2 is a rear view of the garment. A zipper runs from
the bottom of each
pant cuff. The mechanism is a two way zipper that allows for an opening to be
created in the
rear of the garment. As the opening is created by releasing the zipper, the
flap can be folded
exposing only the rear portion of the body. Figure 3 shows an inside view of
the garment.
Fabric covers the zipper to protect the individual wearing the garment from
the zipper.
