English Abstract

This is an automatic automobile engine shutoff "auto-shutoff system" for
automobiles
that shuts off the one it senses a, dangerous level of, carbon monoxide (CO)
gas in the
within a confined space. It does so electronically with the help of a carbon
monoxide
detector. This will also have mobile application that will connect to mobile
device. It will
draw power this will prevent poisoning and accidental death or harm from build-
up of
any dangerous level of the carbon monoxide, in places that are not properly
ventilated.

Claims

Note: Claims are shown in the official language in which they were submitted.

I Claim:

Claim 1: A system that will contact to the automobile engine ("auto-shutoff')
and a carbon
monoxide detector, this carbon monoxide detector detects accumulation of any
preset level of
carbon monoxide gas in the vicinity and sends a signal to the car engine to
stop running (if it is
already running) or not to start running.
Claim 2: When the said system in #s 1 ) above detects accumulation of carbon
monoxide gas in
the vicinity of poorly ventilated area, it sends a signal by light or sound,
for example, from the
"auto-shutdown system" when activated will send an alert to the automobiles
control panel to
turn the engine off and reducing the amount carbon monoxide build up.
Claim 3: An attachment comprising of a carbon monoxide detector that will be
adapted to a
mobile phone that will detect the position of carbon monoxide.
Claim 4: Providing an attachment that is able to achieve power from the mobile
device.
Claim 5: An carbon monoxide detector mounted to attachment, that will produce
a waring, and
means for controllably the engine

Description

Note: Descriptions are shown in the official language in which they were submitted.

CA 02887929 2015-03-09
The Mobile carbon monoxide detector will be used to alert people about high
levels of carbon
monoxide when there is no standard detector in place. In many cases of carbon
monoxide poisoning
they can be avoided by using a Co2 detector that will attach to a person's
cell phone. The cell phone
attachment will draw power from the person's cell phone using the cell phone
earphone jack. The
second part of the attachment will be offered as an option in cars, this
option will allow for the
automatic shutdown of a car when Co2 levels reach unsafe levels. The car
attachment will draw power
from the cars battery with a wire connecting from the attachment to the
control panel of the car. There
will also be wire going from the attachment to the car ignition system that
will shut down the engine in
the event when levels reach an unsafe amount.
