Description
Bogie Wheelset Radial Mechanism with Structure of Adjustable Rigidity
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of railway transportation
equipment, in particular to a
rigidity-adjustable structure of a wheelset radial mechanism of a secondary
frame type radial
bogie of a railway freight car.
Background Art
As is well known, a wheelset radial mechanism of a secondary frame type radial
bogie of a
railway freight car can provide the bogie with large shear rigidity and small
bending rigidity, so
that the bogie has linear high-speed runnability and excellent curve passing
capacity. Thus, there is
clearly a strong correlation between the wheelset radial mechanism and the
shear rigidity and
bending rigidity of the bogie.
Structurally, the wheelset radial mechanism is formed by crosswise pin-
connection of front and
rear secondary frames with two connecting rods, the two secondary frames and
the two connecting
rods are connected in series, and the two connecting rods are connected in
parallel. Thus, the
rigidity of the wheelset radial mechanism is related to the cross angles
between the secondary
frames and the connecting rods and between the connecting rods.
Due to space limitation, the existing secondary frame type radial bogie is
designed in a way that
the cross angles between the secondary frames and the connecting rods and
between the
connecting rods in the wheelset radial mechanism are generally not easy to
change, and the
rigidity of the wheelset radial mechanism is generally very large, which
results in that although the
secondary frame type radial bogie can have the basic characteristics of a
radial bogie, its operation
performance cannot reach the optimal state, and the characteristics of the
radial bogie have not
been fully brought into play.
Summary of the Invention
The invention discloses a bogie wheelset radial mechanism with a structure of
adjustable rigidity
according to the defects of the prior art.
The invention aims to provide a structure capable of realizing rigidity
adjustment of a wheelset
radial mechanism, so that the rigidity of the wheelset radial mechanism tends
to be within a
reasonable range and the performance of a radial bogie is improved; and the
structure does not
affect the structure and arrangement of other parts of the bogie, especially
the wheelset radial

mechanism.
The invention is realized by the following technical scheme:
A bogie wheelset radial mechanism with a structure which is of adjustable
rigidity is provided.
The wheelset radial mechanism is composed of front and rear secondary frames
which are
pin-connected via two connecting rods arranged in a crosswise manner, and is
characterized in that
the connecting rods are pin-connected to the secondary frames via round pins,
and joints between
the round pins and the connecting rods and/or joints between the round pins
and the secondary
frames are provided with replaceable elastic materials.
The joints between the round pins and the connecting rods and/or the joints
between the round
pins and the secondary frames are provided with rings made of the replaceable
elastic materials.
End portions of the connecting rods are embedded into mounting grooves located
in the secondary
frames and are pin-connected to same via the round pins.
The end portions of the connecting rods are located on upper mounting planes
or lower mounting
planes of the secondary frames and are pin-connected to same via the round
pins.
According to the invention, the elastomer materials with certain rigidity are
arranged at the joints
between the secondary frames and the connecting rods, which means the rigidity
of the wheelset
radial mechanism is related to the series connection of the secondary frames
and the connecting
rods via the elastic materials, thus increasing the adaptation range of the
rigidity of the wheelset
radial mechanism; besides, by replacing and setting elastic materials with
different rigidity
parameters, the rigidity of the wheelset radial mechanism can be adjusted
without changing the
structures of the secondary frames, the connecting rods and the like and the
arrangement thereof in
the bogie. The elastic materials can be made into parts with elasticity, such
as the rings arranged at
the joints between the round pins and the connecting rods and/or the joints
between the round pins
and the secondary frames, the elastic materials can be rubber, polyester
elastomer and the like, and
rings with different rigidities can be mounted according to rigidity
requirements.
By adopting the method, the rigidity of the wheelset radial mechanism can be
effectively adjusted,
and the shear rigidity and the bending rigidity of the bogie can be adjusted
accordingly, so that the
linear and curvilinear runnability of the bogie can be greatly improved.
By adopting the method of the invention to control the rigidity of the
wheelset radial mechanism,
the load between the secondary frames and the connecting rods can be reduced
by 10% to 50%,
and the smaller the curve radius through which the bogie passes, the more
obvious the effect,
thereby improving the use reliability of the secondary frames and the
connecting rods and
reducing the risk of structural failure of each part.
By providing the replaceable elastic materials, which have buffering and
damping effects, impact
forces between the round pins and the secondary frames and between the round
pins and the
2

connecting rods are effectively reduced, thereby further improving the use
reliability of the
secondary frames and the connecting rods, and reducing the risk of structural
failure of each part.
