English Abstract

Patent Application
ABSTRACT
The Full-Body Energy device is a device incorporating the benefits of gravity
and circulation with the
added ability to do aerobic exercise and to be balanced (equilibrium).
DESCRIPTION
Existing oscillating exercise machines afford a wide range of health benefits
including weight loss,
muscle development, firming & toning, improved bone structure, reduced signs
of aging, improved
circulation, pain relief, rehabilitation of injuries, massage etc., but
provide little in the way of aerobic
exercise. Traditional exercise machines such as treadmills, stationary
bicycles and elliptical machines
provide aerobic exercise but do not afford all the additional benefits of an
oscillating exercise
machine. What is needed is a system that provides the benefits of both.
The present invention provides the benefits of oscillating exercise and adds
an aerobic exercise
component in an easy-to-use manner. It provides a wide range of health
benefits in less time. The
present invention generates less stress on the joints, ligaments and tendons
when compared to regular
resistance training. It is low impact and ergonomically designed and is
suitable for use by all ages and
body types.
The full-body energy unit consists of a pivoting base. The top surface has a
specially-designed mat
with thickness enough for springiness (3 cm in the drawings). The springy
material can withstand
millions of impacts without distorting. Figures 1-3 show the mat with a tray
for it. The unit has one or
two balancing poles (pipes, sticks etc.) with rubber non-slip bottom, as shown
in Figure 4.
The oscillating device has two aspects.
A: No current oscillating device has a springy mat to allow the user to use
aerobically by shifting
weight from one leg to the other. In this unit, shifting weight back and forth
allows aerobic exercise
benefit, which is hugely multiplied from current devices.
B: The balancing poles give the user stability and at the same time allow for
upper-body exercise,
such as emulating cross-country skiing or any one of hundreds of motions
resulting in aerobic
exercise, which is amplified by the springy mat.

I claim a Full-Body Energy Device with springy mat for aerobic capability, and
poles for balance and
additional exercise, as shown and described.
