English Abstract

An interfold tissue product comprises a tissue stack formed by stacking multiple tissue sheets, wherein each of the tissue sheets is folded in half at least twice, two opposite edges of each tissue sheet created after the first folding are not aligned and form staggered opposite edges, and according to a stacking order of the tissues, the staggered opposite edges (1', 1") of one tissue (1) in each pair of two adjacent tissues and the staggered opposite edges (2', 2") of the other tissue (2) in each pair of adjacent tissues are respectively located at two opposite sides of the tissue stack. Although the thickness of the staggered portions at the opposite edges of each tissue sheet is thinner than that of the remaining portions thereof, such difference in thickness does not accumulate when the tissue sheets are stacked, and the entire tissue stack still has a a uniform thickness, so as to ensure the tissue stack will not tilt to one side, and to guarantee a neat arrangement of the tissues, such that placement of the tissue stack is stable.

CA 03114456 2021-03-26
INTERFOLD TISSUE PRODUCT
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to tissue products, and particularly to
a folded tissue product that
is a stack of tissues stacked by a plurality of folded tissues.
BACKGROUND
[0002] In the folded tissue product, a plurality of tissues is stacked to form
a stack of tissues, and each
tissue is folded twice, and then each tissue and the adjacent upper and lower
tissues are inserted into each
other. In a folded tissue product available in the market, each tissue is
folded at least twice. After a first
folding, the two opposite sides of each tissue are not aligned with each
other, thereby forming staggered
opposite sides, and the staggered opposite sides of all tissues are located on
the same side of the stack of
tissues. In each folded tissue, the thickness of a part where the opposite
sides thereof are staggered with
each other is thinner than other parts. After multiple tissues are
superimposed, the thickness of the entire
stack of tissues will be obviously uneven, and the thickness of the side of
the tissue where the opposite
sides are staggered with each other is significantly thinner than the
thickness of the other side opposite
to the side, which causes the entire stack of tissues to be skewed and affects
the neatness of the
arrangement of the tissues, and even makes it difficult to place the entire
stack of tissues stably.
SUMMARY
100031 The present disclosure aims to provide a folded tissue product to
overcome the defect that the
entire stack of tissues is skewed due to uneven thickness.
100041 The present disclosure is implemented as follows. A folded tissue
product includes a stack of
tissues stacked by a plurality of tissues. Each tissue is folded at least
twice. After a first folding, two
opposite sides of each tissue are not aligned with each other to form
staggered opposite sides. According
to a stacking order of the tissues, in each two adjacent tissues, the
staggered opposite sides of one of the
tissues and the staggered opposite sides of the other tissue are respectively
located on two opposite sides
of the stack of tissues.
100051 As a best embodiment, in the first folding of each tissue, a ratio of a
width of a narrow part on

one side of a fold line to a width of a wide part on the other side of the
fold line is in a range from 1/2 to
3/4.
100061 The present disclosure has the following advantages. Since the
staggered opposite sides of each
two adjacent tissues are respectively located on two sides of the stack of
tissues, although a thickness of
the part of each tissue where the opposite sides thereof are staggered with
each other is thinner than the
thickness of the other parts of the tissue, such a difference in thickness
will not accumulate due to the
stacking of the tissues, and thus the thickness of the entire stack of tissues
is still uniform. Therefore, the
entire stack of tissues will not be skewed, ensuring the neatness of the
arrangement of the tissues, and
enabling the entire stack of tissues to be placed stably.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0007] FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a tissue folded twice;
100081 FIG. 2 is a schematic view of stacking tissues;
[0009] FIG. 3 is a schematic view of a best folding ratio of a single tissue.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
100101 For the convenience of understanding the present disclosure, the
present disclosure is described
more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings. Preferable
embodiments of the
present disclosure are presented in the accompanying drawings. However, the
present disclosure may be
embodied in many different forms and is not limited to the embodiments
described herein. These
embodiments are provided to make the disclosure of the present disclosure more
thorough and
comprehensive.
100111 A folded tissue product of the present disclosure includes a stack of
tissues stacked by a plurality
of tissues. As shown in Fig. 1, each tissue is folded twice. In a first
folding, a dot dash line A-A is used
as a fold line, and in a second folding, a dot dash line B-B is used as a fold
line. The two fold lines are
perpendicular to each other. The first folding is an asymmetrical folding. The
two opposite sides 1' and
1" are not aligned with each other to form staggered opposite sides. As a
possible embodiment, each
tissue can also be folded more times, such as three times, four times, or the
like. The fold line of each
folding is perpendicular to the fold line of the previous folding. In addition
to the first folding that is the

asymmetrical folding, the other foldings are all symmetrical foldings.
[0012] Fig. 2 shows a stacking structure of a stack of tissues stacked by the
folded tissues shown in Fig.
1 by taking three tissues as an example. As shown in Fig. 2, the staggered
opposite sides 1' and 1" of the
tissue 1 are located on a left side of the stack of tissues, the staggered
opposite sides 2' and 2" of the
tissue 2 are located on a right side of the stack of tissues, and the
staggered opposite sides 3' and 3" of
the tissue 3 are located on the left side of the stack of tissues, and so on.
According to the stacking order
of the tissues, in each two adjacent tissues, the staggered opposite sides of
one of the tissues and the
staggered opposite sides of the other tissue are respectively located on two
opposite sides of the stack of
tissues. Therefore, although a thickness of the part of each tissue where the
opposite sides thereof are
staggered with each other is thinner than the thickness of the other parts of
the tissue, such a difference
in thickness will not accumulate due to the stacking of the tissues, and thus
the thickness of the entire
stack of tissues is still uniform. Thus, the entire stack of tissues will not
be skewed, ensuring the neatness
of the arrangement of the tissues, and enabling the entire stack of tissues to
be placed stably.
[0013] In the embodiment shown in Fig. 2, two adjacent tissues are inserted
into each other. As a
possible embodiment, two adjacent tissues may not be inserted into each other,
and the upper tissue is
simply placed on top of the lower tissue.
100141 As a best embodiment, as shown in Fig. 3, in the first folding of each
tissue, the width of the
narrow part on one side of the fold line A-A is Wl, the width of the wide part
on the other side of the
fold line A-A is W2. The ratio of W1 to W2, namely W1/W2, is preferably in a
range from 1/2 to 3/4.
[0015] The above-mentioned examples are merely illustrative of several
embodiments of the present
disclosure, which are described specifically and in detail, but it cannot be
understood to limit the scope
of the present disclosure. A plurality of variations and modifications may be
made by those skilled in the
art without departing from the scope of the present disclosure, which are all
within the scope of protection
of the present disclosure. The protection scope of the present disclosure
shall be defined by the appended
claims.
