Background Art
[0003] The bullets used in paintball are made in such a way that
they are destroyed by a
collision with a person and the paint inside it is spread on the collision
site, which will
confirm the collision of the bullet with the person. These pellets are
spherical gelatin
capsules consisting of materials such as polyethylene glycol, non-toxic
substances, and
soluble in water and paint. Paintballs are made from materials, some of which
are
found in food but have an unpleasant taste because they cause dry mouth. The
use of
polyethylene glycol (laxative) inside the pellets causes gastrointestinal
upset in people
who eat the color of these pellets. Therefore, these bullets should be kept
out of the
reach of children.
[0004] The original paintballs were made of glass and filled with
inedible oil paints, and
were used to mark trees and animals. Modern paintballs should be easy to
remove from
most clothing. The color of the shell does not necessarily indicate the color
of the
liquid inside. Most paintball bullets and markers are described as 0.68
calibers (17.3
mm), but many factors affect the exact dimensions. The size of paintball
bullets and
rifle barrels varies from 0.67 to 0.71 caliber (17 mm to 18 mm).
[0005] Paintballs are seldom completely round and are very
sensitive to heat and moisture.
A hot or humid day may cause the bullet to swell or become deformed.
Therefore,

PCT/IB2021/055064
these pellets should be kept away from sunlight and moisture. The gelatin
shell of the
paintball is designed to be broken by the impact. There are several types of
paintballs,
including glowing balls for night use, scented paintballs with special
formulas for
winter games, and more. Another disadvantage of colored paintballs when the
bullet
falls to the ground is that water collected on the ground or groundwater may
swell the
paintball, which can cause the shell to swell and block the tube. A marker
that disrupts
the function of the gun.
[0006] In general, paintball balls are produced at higher prices,
subject to quality production
processes and below the standard, with a more compatible size and shape, which
is
important for the accuracy of the balls. Suitable bullets have thin shells
that break more
often due to the impact of the bullet and the liquid inside is easily
recognizable.
Although it is theoretically possible to freeze water-based colored
paintballs,
polyethylene glycol additives dramatically reduce the freezing point of the
compound,
and it is unlikely that by freezing, the bullet will become more difficult
than something
else. Become an ordinary paintball bullet. When the environment is very cold,
there is
a dimple in the shell of the paintball, which reduces the accuracy of the
bullet and
makes the shell more fragile. Therefore, some professional ball speed teams
cool their
balls in the freezer to make the bullet more fragile.
[0007] US SWAT teams often use paintball-like bullets known as
pepper balls, which are
filled with Oleoresin Capsicum, the active ingredient in pepper spray, and is
known as
a non-lethal disabling method. Pepper bullets arc fired faster to be safe
(more than 350
feet per second (110 meters per second)). Pepper bullets can be fired from
most
paintball guns.
[0008] In recent years, HydroTec Bullets has introduced a new
paintball that is made of corn
husk and contains up to 98% water. The shell of the bullet can withstand
temperatures
up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (49 degrees Celsius). The above features,
combined with
a unique manufacturing process, make a more stable paintball ball. But the
problems
with this type of bullet are the high fragility of the bullet during transport
and operation
or this type of bullet.
[0009] Reusable bullets are an alternative to regular paintballs.
"Reballs" are one of the most
widely used bullets in this category, which are made of flexible plastics.
Most reusable
paintballs are the same size as regular paintballs that do not contain paint.
Since these
bullets do not open to leave a color mark on players, they are practical for
indoor
locations where the accumulation of paint due to the bullet breaking can be
problematic. But this form of paintball, since it leaves no color mark, allows
players to
cheat easily. A Reba11 bullet is much more expensive than a paintball bullet,
but
because it can be cleaned and reused many times, it is potentially less
expensive for
users. Some paintball parks have added dedicated reball fields. The initial
use of

WO 2022/003455
PCT/IB2021/055064
Reballs, as originally intended by the developers, is considered a practical
aid for
teams wishing to save money by using reusable bullets.
[0010] Other manufacturers have produced similar products, such as
the V-B all, a reusable
velvet-like product. Reballs are used because of their inability to break at a
slower rate.
For example, a typical paintball bullet is usually fired at a speed of fewer
than 300 feet
per second (91 meters per second), while a Reba11 is used at a speed of nearly
240 feet
per second (73 meters per second).
[0011] About foreign inventions, studies on paintball balls are
often used on fillers inside
paintball halls and shell materials, like the:
[0012] Oil and polyethylene glycol fill material for use in
paintball shells
[0013] United States Patent 8920918
[0014] A fill material is for use within a closed interior chamber
of a gelatin paintball
capsule. The fill material includes a polyethylene glycol and an oil. Each one
of the
polyethylene glycol and the oil is present in a respective amount that is
substantially
less than about 90% by weight of the fill material.
100151 The fill material additionally includes at least a first
additive that is selected from the
group consisting of an emulsifier, a dye, a density agent, a thickener, and a
surfactant.
Preferably, a starch may be used as the density agent, as the emulsifier,
and/or as the
thickener. Suitable starches may include corn starch, rice starch, potato
starch,
modified starch, and combinations thereof, among others. In 2014, the new
fillers
include polyethylene glycol, oils and additives such as surfactants,
emulsifiers, rice
starches, groundnuts and corn, which are different from my design.
[0016] Water based paintball and method for fabricating water based
paintballs
[0017] United States Patent 8479656
[0018] A paintball includes first and second half shell portions,
each with a recess that can
hold liquid containing dyes or other marking pigments. The liquid in the
second half
shell portion is relatively viscous, or becomes so after being placed in the
second shell
portion. The second shell portion can then be inverted and the liquid will
stay within it.
Neither shell portion includes a barrier to hold the liquids in place. The
second half
shell portion can then be placed on and joined with the first half shell
portion to form a
paintball. In 2013, paintball balls with a two-layer shell were introduced, in
which
different compounds are placed in two layers and mixed after being hit, which
is
different in appearance from the servant design.

the sportsman and woman and children everywhere. These three chemical
compounds
are all listed as non-toxic. Hydrogen peroxide 2.50 ml. Phenyl oxalate ester
1.25 ml.
And the Fluorescent dye 1.25 ml. The gelatin capsule in a ball or a ball in a
ball can be
used, in any high power paintball air gun. Caliber 0.68 to activate them,
simply
squeeze the paintball with your thumb and forefinger.
[0022] Over the two gelatin interior posts supporting the center
capsule or hall this will
rupture that center capsule or ball, this stares the premixing process now

load for the dusk to dawn paintball war games sport. Have fun with it and,
enjoy the
assortment luminescence bright colors. In 2005, three non-toxic compounds of
hydrogen peroxide, phenyl oxalate ester and fluorescent paint were used to
make
bright paintballs for use in dark environments. In this design, the
ingredients and the
environment of use are different.
Summary of Invention
[0023] Paintballs containing paint used for paintball competitions
have several technical and
environmental drawbacks. These pellets are very fragile due to having a thin
and
gelatinous shell during transport and if broken inside the package, they will
destroy
other bullets. In the present invention, the design of painthall bullets in
the form of a
cylinder in the center and four quarters of a sphere encloses the cylinder.
This design
also creates the appropriate aerodynamic properties to maintain the range of
the bullet
and the launch of the bullet and the passage of the launch path directly. On
the other
hand, the bullets of the present invention are a combination of calcium
carbonate and
polyethylene, which due to the use of a high percentage of calcium carbonate
in the
composition, these pellets are environmentally friendly. They will also be
recyclable
after being used and destroyed by hitting the target.
Technical Problem
[0024] Paintballs containing paint used for paintball competitions
have several technical and
environmental drawbacks. These pellets are very fragile due to having a thin
and
gelatinous shell during transport, and if they are broken inside the package,
they will
destroy other bullets. Also, the paint in paintballs, if used on natural grass
fields, which
are the main origin of paintball competitions, will eventually cause grass
destruction
and soil erosion. Also, the use of polyethylene glycol (laxative) inside the
pellets
causes gastrointestinal upset in people who accidentally eat the color of
these pellets.
[0025] Therefore, these bullets should be kept out of the reach of
children. On the other
hand, when the competition or training environment is very cold, a hole is
created in
the shell of the paintball, which reduces the accuracy of the bullet and also
makes the
shell more fragile. Paintballs are very sensitive to heat and moisture. A hot
or humid
day may cause the bullet to swell or become deformed. Another disadvantage of

PCT/IB2021/055064
colored paintballs when the bullet falls to the ground is that water collected
on the
ground or groundwater may swell the paintball, which can cause the shell to
swell and
block the tube. In recent years, new training bullets that do not have color
have been
introduced, such as ribs.
[0026] These bullets are made of flexible plastic that can be
reused, but this type of bullet
can not he destroyed and causes the challenge of cheating during training.
Given the
above, it is important to build bullets that can minimize the environmental
and
technical problems of previous bullets. The bullets of the present invention,
because
they contain a large amount of calcium carbonate, are environmentally friendly
pellets
that can be recycled after use and destruction by hitting the target.
Solution of problem
[0027] To make the bullets of the present invention, first, a
suitable mold of these bullets
was prepared. Metal molds are made in four pieces to make it easier for the
bullets to
come out. According to [Fig.1]. the design inside the molds is cylindrical in
the center
(2) and four quadrants (1) around this cylinder. Overview and side views of
paintball
bullets are shown in Figures 2 and 3. One of the main purposes of designing
paintball
bullets of the present invention is to create the ability to easily destroy
the bullet by
hitting the target for this purpose, as shown in Figures 1-3, the common
surface of four
quadrants (1) with a small central cylinder (2) is considered. Also, the
symmetry
considered in this design creates a suitable aerodynamic property to maintain
the
length of the bullet and the launch of the bullet, and the passage of the
launch path
directly.
[0028] Another purpose of the present invention is to design an
environmentally friendly
paintball that uses a combination of calcium carbonate and polyethylene. After

designing and manufacturing the molds, to fill the molds and make the pellets,
calcium
carbonate and polyethylene are mixed at a temperature of 60 C and poured
into the
designed mold. The injection of the desired compound into the mold was
continued for
1-2 minutes at a temperature of 60-80 C to fill the molds. After cooling the
mold and
forming pellets, after final quality control, they are sent for packaging. .
Due to the use
of the above compound and the stability of this compound from a temperature of
-20
C to + 50 C, the bullets of the invention can be used in a wider temperature
of -20 to
+50 C Which includes a higher temperature range than previous bullets.
[0029] Also, due to the use of a combination of calcium carbonate
and polyethylene, the
pellets can be recovered after consumption and destruction. Destruction
pellets are
collected and after melting and poured into molds for molding.

Examples
[0041] To produce the paintballs of the present invention, a
combination of environmentally
friendly calcium carbonate with a low percentage of polyethylene is used.
Also, a four-
sided design allows the destruction of bullets. Therefore, it is possible to
replace these
bullets with colored paintball bullets that are not recyclable and colorless
bullets of in-
destructible rebels.
Industrial Applicability
[0042] The present invention is used in any club, whether
recreational or professional
paintball. Also, these bullets can be used in two parts of training and even
