English Abstract





This invention is a plug/ receptacle type toilet bowl / toilet seat
attachment, to make it more convenient for someone to clean
completely toilet bowls and toilet seats. It allows one to remove the
toilet seat completely from its attachment to the toilet bowl. Both
the toilet bowl and toilet seat can then be cleaned thoroughly.
Afterwards the toilet seat can be reattached to the toilet bowl.

SPECIFICATION
This invention. relates to a use of a plug and plug receptacle far
attaching a toilet seat { and toilet seat cover) to the toilet bawl via
the existing standard size holes and hole spacing on the evm~nly
used toilets and toilet seats. The most common devices for
attaching the toilet seat to the toilet bowl consists of set screws
and nuts. IVIy invention replaces the set screw with a plug and the
nut with a plug receptacle. The plug I receptacle is hmadly
illustrated on FIG 1 attached. . The plug consists of a plug portion
of approx. 2 " in length and '/~ " in diameter with a number of
knobs on the plug shaft. 'The top of the plug has a plug head.
Beneath the plug head is set screw portion of the plug shaft to
facilitate $ shallow depth nut to allow the plug to be firmly
attached to the toilet seat. At the top of the plug receptacle part
there as also a shallow depth nut which is used to firmly atttxch the
plug receptacle to the toilet bowl. This nut has a screwed shaft
with centre hale) attached to it and it is screwedl onto the plug
