English Abstract

A lawnmower blade designed in the shape of an "S" and/or two opposing arc
shaped cutting edges on the same blade.

This blade is designed to feed the matter to be cut into the recesses of the
opposing arcs
during rotation.

The arc design allows for the matter being cut to be fed into the recesses at
split second
intervals during rotation creating an easier, neater, cleaner cut.

This design also reduces the build up of mulched matter on the inside of the
blade
housing. It cuts toward the center rather than throwing cuttings against the
inner walls
of the housing.

Scythe Blade

The Scythe Blade is a replacement blade for lawnmowers. It was designed to
actually
cut grass like it's predecessor, the scythe (the long handled, curved blade
implement used
years ago to cut crops and long grass.)

The sharpened curved ends of the "scythe replacement blade: for lawnmowers,
cuts
grass easily as it rotates with the RPM of the mower.

The present day lawnmower blades hack or chop off grass with their straight
edge
blades. These straight edge blades depend entirely on sharpness and motor RPM
to chop
or hack off grass.

The curved cutting edge of the "scythe blade replacement blade" gathers in the
grass as
it rotates and cuts it off, while it is being fed into the curved recess of
the blade. This is
exactly what the old time scythe did, being manually swung by it's operator.
This cutting
edge produces a neat and even cut. It also reduces the drag on the lawnmower
engine
because it cuts rather than chops and hacks.
