NO~I CE BOARD
P~ACKGROUNl) OF T~F. INV~llON
Field of the Invention
The present .;nvention ~-elates to a notice board and
more particularly to a notice board on which a notice sheet,
a poster or the like is put up.
Descrip~ion.of the Prior Arts
Convent;.onally, the notice board is made of a rectangu-
lar wooden plate-and hung on a wall or a pillar with a metal
fitting. The poster or the notice sheet.may then be pinned
up on the.notice board.
The conventional notice board serves just as a means
for putting up the-poster or the not~ce sheet thereon.
When it is .necessary to put up a notice sheet, for
example, a memorandum paper in -onjunction with the content
of the poster or the liXe which is to be pinned up, a pin or
a sticking tape.is used to fix the memorandum sheet~thereto.
Using the pin or the sticking tape takes time and-labor.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
It is therefore.the principal.object of the..present
invention to provide a notice board capable of easily
carrying out a notice, the content of which ls diferent

2032087
from he content whi_h has bee:n already Zisplayed by a
notice sheet.
In accomplishing these and other. objects, a notice
board according to ~he present invention co~prises: a
substrate; a notice portlon formed on one-principal surface
of the substrate; a communicating content display.member,
mounted on the substrate, for displaying a communicating
content; and means for mounting the communicating content
display member on the substrate.. The communicating content
display member is formed by adhering a plurality of sheet
materials each having ~ re-adhesive layer formed on one
principal surface thereof.
The substrate is provided with communicating content
display member and each sheet thereof is repeatedly and
releasably.adhered.to the.substrate.
According to the present invention, the substrate is
provided with the communication content display. member
comprising a plurality of sheet materials which can be
repeatedly adhered to the substrate via the re-adhesive
agent formed thereon. Therefore, according- to the notice
board of the present invention, a content different. from .the
content which has been already displayed by the notice sheet
can be written to the sheet material. Then, the sheet
material is released from the communication content display
member to stick it to the substrate at a desired position

t~lereo~. The sheet material torn off the substrate can be
returned to the original posi~ion.
These objects and other objects, features, aspects and
advantages of the present invention will become apparent
from the following detailed description of the embGdiments
of the present invention when taken in connection with the
accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of a
notice board according to an embodiment o~ the present
invention.
Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing a communication
content display member.
Fig. 3 is a sectional view taken along the line III-III
shown in Fig. 2.
DESCRIPIION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Fig. 1 is a perspective vie~ showin~ an example of a
notice-board according to the present invention. Fig. 2 is
a perspective view showing a comm~nication content display
me~ber. Fig. 3 is a sectional view taken along the line
III-III shown in Fig. 2.
A notice board 10 includes a rectangular substrate 12
comprising a wooden material. A narrow rectangular

20~2(~7
projection me~ber 14 extends from lower end of the substrate
12 such that the projection member 14 is perpendicular to
the substrate 12. Therefore, the longitudinal sectional
view of the substrate 12 which is integrated with the
rectangular projection member 14 is L-shaped.
Hanging members 16 and 18 made of a metal and T-shaped
in section are mounted on the upper end of the substrate 12
such that the hanging members 16 and 18 are spaced from each
other at a certain interval in the longitudinal direction of
the substrate 12. Circular through-holes 17 and 19 are
formed on the upper center of the hanging members 16 and 18,
respectively so that the notice board 10 can be hung on, for
example, a wall or a pillar.
A mounting rectangular box 22 serving as a means for
mountlng the communication content display member which will
be described later is fixed to the substrate 12. The upper
surface of the box 22 is rectangular and opened to the
outside. The box 22 is attached to one end of the projec-
tion member 14 via an adhesive agent.
A memorandum book 24 serving as the communication
content display member is accommodated in the box 22. The
memorandum book 24 is formed by adhering wit~ each other a
plurality of sheet materials 26 of the same configuration
and size.

20~X~87
More specilically, the memorandum book 24 comprlses
rectangular sheet materials 26 consisting of paper or
synthetic paper. A re-adhesive layer 28 is formed on one
principal surface of the sheet material 26 ~by applying a
weak pressure sensitive .adhesive agent thereto in.such a
manner that the re-adhesive layer 28 has a predetermIned
width and length in the vicinity of both ends of the sheet
material 26.in the longitudinal direction thereof. .The
re-adhesive layer 20 is printed onto the sheet material 26
by a known printing machine.
The memorandum book 24 is formed by adhering a plurali-
ty of-sheet materials 26 to each other via the re-adhesive
layer 28.
The memorandum books 24 is accommodated in the. box 22..
~herefore, as shown in Fig. 1, in pinning up a poster A and
a notice sheet B on the substrate 12, a notice having a
content on the sheet material ~6 different from the content
of the poster A and the notice sheet B is written to the
sheet material 26, and then, the -sheet material-26 is
sticked to the substrate 12 at a desired positlon..thereof.
The sheet material 26 is torn off the substrate 12.and then
returned to the original position of the box 22.
In the above embodiment, it is possible.to form a
release layer on the other principal surface of the sheet
material.26 by applying a release agent such as silicon
-- 5 --

- 20~2~7
resin, parafin or wax thereto in .such a manner that the
position of ~he release layer corresponds to that of the
re-adhesive layer 28 formed on one principal surf, ace there-
of. The release layer may be ~ormed by sticking release
paper or a releasable film to ~he sheet material 26.
Although the present invention has been described-and
illustrated in detail, it is clearly understood that the
same is by way of illustration and example-only and is not
to be taken by way of limitation, the spirit and scope of
the present invention being limited only by the terms of the
appended claims.
