Le "CELNET" est portatif, indépendant, compact, il est
équipé d'un modem, équipé d'un transmetteur numérique et /ou
micro ondes qui fait le transfert de data à très haute vitesse (entre
256 kbytes/sec à 1028 kbytes /sec).
Il possède une interface vidéo qui sera ''touch screen'' et
co~ rel1dra une interface vidéo, fax et sons.(voir document ~
Il col~ elldra aussi un clavier numérique pour contacter un
autre CELNET ou serveur CYBERGEN.
Il peut se brancher sur la télévision ou sur un moniteur, et sera
compatible avec beaucoups de périphériques sur le marché, comme
disque dur externe, disque de lecteur cd externe, un clavier externe,
un adapteur a/c, sera équipé d'une carte de sons et d'une mini carte

Video Celnet (VC) is a personal computPr at a size of a laptop. The main fim~tion~ which are detailed on the end of

Details are as follows:
1 ) VC is a size of a standard laptop, approx I I l/2" X 8" X 2". Because of it's size, it fits in any briefcase made for
today. The use of the satellite rather the phone lines are not limiting VC to political borders and co..lin~,..ls. Cellular
phone is a part of VC so you can be always in touch.
2)Internet access over satellite has been tested but not put on production because of it is way more expensive the
regular phone }ine. But put together in so many different utilities, the cost divides by all the parts, and so it is
b~..~ng ~uld?~le Internet access is at the speed of 512 kbps both ways, colllpd.ed to the brand new te.~hnology
called X2 (which gives the ~ dow 'oad speed of 56 kbps), an ISDN line(which can have 64 kbps per channel
., two channels at speed 128 kbps) and few cable c~ , which offer Internet on cable (do.. lc~1 only for
now, at speed of 160 kbps). Because the speed of the c~ ' over satellite is at 512 kbps, the use of all other
aCce~eorics supplied by CyberGen Server, are bc~- ~;n8 very h.~e.~.ting for people on the go. The speed over a long
distances never seen before.
3) 512 kbps will give you live video, (at a rate of 15 fps to up to 30 fps, regular movies on the TV are at 24 fps
;.. ), full duplex voice and still being able to download the files, work on one thru CyberGen Server, and even
use the cellular eim~ , )eo~ . Total security is ~ t~,ed, because all the video/voice COl~hl.,ulg is made thru the
CyberGen Server where no logs are kept. The Internet access is provided by CyberGen, also with server that keeps
no logs, because we, here at CyberGen, believe in full cOslu".~, co..r.~ ty.
4) Cellular phones are b~cc 1,, the use of every holl- -~ -11 RlJ~ must have one phone number where ever
they travel. Place should not cause them not to stay in touch with home. Them being in North America, South Africa
or China, should not make a d.i~. ~l.ce. That's way we attached the device to VC. By national sl~d~ds, the cellular
op~ , more then 5 km in range should be notified to the country you are using it in. That could result in some lose
in time. That is the reason VC has a cellular with the range to up to 5 km from the l. (VC).
5) because of all the pos~;b;~;ties in the cc....~ world, we just could not provide them all, but at least we can make
it easier with our optional pe.ipn~,. ' Basically, anything that is on sale and will be, is c~.mr ' le with VC.
PCMCLA, parallel port, serial ports, IDE co~ ;on~, SCSI, etc. are all part of the VC that makes it so much easier
to expand. 3D glasses are optional because of all the Virtual Reality (VR) is bc~. ~g the way we live today, it will
be much easier viellqli7i~ the objects few ll..-..~ --l~ kil~mPtPrs away. The use of the 3D glasses will be an accessory
with Netropolis, an VR city, where Netizens can live in it. (N~ C ' iS detailed at the end). The hard disk space can
become a burden. The doe~ lc or pl~ l;o~s are bec~ g awfully big, that could cause some hard disk space
p.~ Also you have to think about backing-up such data, to another large medium. That's where hard disk
"rent" on CyberGen Server is a welcome choice, you do not have to worry of the space and backing-up the data. It is
all done ~ ~lo~ . ~ ;c ~ and safely. The touch screen and voice dictation we thought to be put together because of the
simplicity of use on the Internet, without using the mouse or keyboard. You surf the Internet with your fingers, as it
should be, and writing your E-Mail by talking to it!
6) because all the equirnupnt is standard, there is not much PYpl ~ining to do. 400 MB EEPROM is a hard disk and a
memory at the same time. There are no moving parts, so the access speed is h~cf~i'l~ly faster then conventional use of
hard disk. Working in memory at memory speed was a dream to many people. Not any more.

9) CyberGen Server will be equipt with state of the art program that anybody can log on our Server and surf the net
without being scared that somebody can check them out. Without the se;ver, the privacy is not such a big issue. Just
about anybody can find out from where you are calling from, what is your name, which computer do you have, what
is the serial number of your c~ ~l,ut~ and the programs you are using, in some extreme cases, that somebody can
make a simple virus made specially for your co..~ not dete .~ ' 'e by any anti-virus program that exists. Scary.
That service will be provided for no fee what so ever. Because the privacy IS a big thing!
10) CyberCard reader is a simple credit card look, feel and function. One thing that credit card did not have much
success over the Internet is that the security numbers were easily traced and copied, reproduced and then misused.
Because our code can only be read by our server, nobody knows what kind of numbas to expect. The reader is a
PS/2 connPctor on your keyboard so anybody can have it installed. The CyberCard can be bought in "dep~ .--" or
simply l,~ ,sÇ~.ed from your account or credit card.

NETROPOLIS
Netropolis is a Virtual Reality city, where its netizens live. Netropolis will have basically three towers,
Corporate, fun and hackers hung-out. You will be directly connected to Netropolis by a Video Celnet, which has
optional 3D glasses that can make navigation through a true 3D Internet world, a liffle bit more easier and fun. By
choosing the tower you want to go in, you'll be able to go inside the tower look at the stores, offices, le~ ."~
casinos, shopping malls, mll~e~ 7 cinemas, music stores with live music videos playing, etc. just like in the real
city. A~l the stores have the same settings as they were in the "real" world. The pictures will be taken from all
participating stores and published in true 3D in seconds. Everything you need is there. You'll be able to take a
product in your "hand" visualize it, try it. You will be able to shop directly through the Internet and your PC. With a
simple card, provided by CyberGen, you can have access to aU of the stores, buy or sell everything it needs to be
done, and still have the security that nobody can possible have it cracked, broken down or hacked. The reader for the
CyberCard, will be provided under no cost, and the CyberCard reader is already installed on Video Celnet. You
would have a chat room where you can talk to your friend, see him, ~ ously
