Revendications

Claims
The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive
property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:
1. A wearable breast model comprising:
~ a convex base board for detachably mounting the breast
model onto a chest portion of a human body, having an
inner surface and an outer surface;
~ 2 simulated breasts securely attached to the outer
surface of the base board, each simulated breast
comprising:
~~ a dome-shaped elastic membrane formed into the shape
of a human breast for simulating skin tissues of a
human breast, having a central nipple portion and an
outer portion outwardly extending from the central
nipple portion, securely attached to the base board;
~~ a quantity of gel for simulating soft tissues of a
human breast, stored inside the dome-shaped
membrane; and
~~ a plurality of particles for simulating lumps of
cancerous cells, suspended inside the gel; and
~ a strap securely attached to the base board;
a human patient wearing the breast model being able to
practise self-examination of breast cancer detection
herself/himself by manually touching the simulated breasts
and feeling the lumps of breast cancer cells in a natural
position and movement of fingers, hands and arms.
2. The wearable breast model as defined in claim 1, further
comprising:
~ a buckle, securely attached to the strap.
3. The wearable breast model as defined in claim 1, in which the
base board is made of plastic.
4. The wearable breast model as defined in claim 1, in which
each simulated breast is detachable from the base board so
that one simulated breast having particles of certain size
may be interchanged with another simulated breast having
particles of different size in order to simulate different
stages of breast cancer.
5. The wearable breast model as defined in claim 1, in which the
gel of the simulated breasts is made of silicone.

6. The wearable breast model as defined in claim 1, in which the
strap is positioned to wrap around a human neck.
7. The wearable breast model as defined in claim 1, in which the
strap is positioned to wrap around a human chest.
8. The wearable breast model as defined in claim 2, in which the
buckle is a magnetic buckle.

Background Art
= There are many instances where it would be desirable to be
able to provide a female or male patient with a breast model
for practising self-examination of cancer detection on
herself/himself by manually touching the simulated breasts
and feeling the lumps of breast cancer cells.

= It is a primary object of the invention to provide a breast
model to practise self-examination of cancer detection.
