ELECTRIC PUSH ROD CONVENIENT FOR MOUNTING
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to an electric push rod convenient for mounting,
belonging to the
technical field of electric push rods.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
An electric push rod plays a role of providing linear drive for a mechanism of
certain device,
which is mostly mounted and fixed by an end puller on a reduction gearbox so
as to connect a
transmission connecting hole at the front end of a guiding pipe of the
electric push rod to a
linear motion mechanism of the device for drive. In the prior art, the end
puller is usually
integrated with the cover of the reduction gearbox, and thus the relative
angle between a
mounting hole on the end puller and a transmission connecting hole at the
front end of the
guiding pipe is fixed, and accordingly, the relative angle between the
mounting hole of the
mounting part for mounting the electric push rod and the transmission
connecting hole of the
linear motion mechanism is unchangeable. Thus the relative angle between the
mounting hole
on the end puller of the electric push rod and the transmission connecting
hole at the front end
of the guiding pipe being not conform to the relative angle between the
mounting hole of the
mounting part and the linear motion mechanism causes hard mounting of the
electric push rod
and results in inconvenience in mounting.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The object of the present invention is to provide an electric push rod
convenient for mounting
and with an adjustable relative angle between a mounting hole on an end puller
and a
transmission connecting hole at the front end of a guiding pipe to meet
mounting requirements
of different places, thereby solving the problem that in the prior art the
unchangeable relative

angle between a mounting hole on the end puller and the transmission
connecting hole at the
front end of the guiding pipe resulting in the unchangeable relative angle
between the
mounting hole of the mounting part for mounting the electric push rod and the
connecting
hole of a linear motion mechanism, so if the relative angle between the
mounting hole on the
end puller of the electric push rod and the transmission connecting hole at
the front end of the
guiding pipe is not conform to the relative angle between the mounting hole of
the mounting
part and the linear motion mechanism, the electric push rod can not be mounted
causing
inconvenience in mounting.
The above technical object is mainly achieved by the following technical
scheme: an electric
push rod convenient for mounting, which includes a motor and a reduction
gearbox. The
reduction gearbox comprises a gearbox cover and an end puller. The gearbox
cover and the
end puller are separated from each other. A through-hole is positioned in the
gearbox cover;
the body of the end puller is cylindrical in shape fitting to the through hole
in the gearbox
cover; the end puller is provided with a limit end positioned in the inner end
of the through
hole of the gearbox cover to prevent the end puller from being pulled out of
the through-hole
of the gearbox cover; the part of the end puller corresponding to the outer
end of the through
hole of the gearbox cover is provided with an external thread which fits to a
locking nut; the
outer end of the end puller is provided with a mounting hole; and the fixation
at a variety of
angles between mounting hole on the end puller and the gearbox cover is
realized by the limit
end of the end puller fitting to the inner end of the through hole of the
gearbox cover. In the
invention, the end puller is designed to be separated from the gearbox cover,
and the through
hole fitting to the end puller is positioned in the gearbox cover, so that the
adjustment of
angles between the mounting hole on the end puller and the transmission
connecting hole at
the front end of the guiding pipe of the electric push rod is realized through
adjusting angles
between the end puller and the through hole of the gearbox cover by the limit
end of the end
puller fitting to the inner end of the through hole of the gearbox cover and
locking the relative
position between the end puller and the through hole of the gearbox cover by
the locking nut
fitting to the external thread of the end puller, thereby satisfying mounting
requirements of
2

CA 02729573 2010-12-29
different places and improving the convenience of the electric push rod in
mounting.
Preferably, the limit end is of an external regular polygonal structure, and
the circumference of
the inner end of the through hole of the gearbox cover is provided with at
least one internal
regular polygonal groove capable of fitting to the external regular polygonal
structure of the
limit end. When the angle between the mounting hole on the end puller and the
transmission
connecting hole at the front end of the guiding pipe of the electric push rod
needs to be
adjusted, the locking nut is loosened from the external thread of the end
puller, the end puller
is pushed a distance towards the inner end of the through hole of the gearbox
cover so as to
pull the external regular polygonal structure of the limit end of the end
puller out of the
internal regular polygonal groove of the inner end of the through hole of the
gearbox cover,
the end puller is rotated relative to the through hole to a required angle for
mounting and then
drawn outwardly a distance so as to fit the external regular polygonal
structure of the limit end
of the end puller to the internal regular polygonal groove of the inner end of
the through hole
of the gearbox cover, and finally the locking nut is tightly screwed with the
external thread of
the end puller to lock the relative position between the end puller and the
gearbox cover for
satisfying mounting requirements of different places.
Preferably, the circumference of the inner end of the through hole of the
gearbox cover is
provided with a plurality of concentric internal regular polygonal grooves
capable of fitting to
the external regular polygonal structure of the limit end, and the internal
regular polygonal
grooves are alternately disposed in the circumference direction. Accordingly,
the alternate
arrangement of the internal regular polygonal grooves at the inner end of the
through hole of
the gearbox cover enables more fixation positions to be available between the
end puller and
the circumference of the through hole of the gearbox cover to further improve
the adjustability
between the end puller and the transmission connecting hole at the front end
of the guiding
pipe of the electric push rod and facilitate the mounting of the electric push
rod for meeting
mounting requirements of more places.
3

CA 02729573 2010-12-29
Preferably, the number of edges of the external regular polygonal structure is
from three to
eight, and the internal regular polygonal groove corresponds to the external
regular polygonal
structure.
Preferably, the limit end is of an external gear ring structure, and the
circumference of the
inner end of the through hole of the gearbox cover is provided with an
internal gear ring
structure fitting to the external gear ring structure. When the angle between
the mounting hole
on the end puller and the transmission connecting hole at the front end of the
guiding pipe of
the electric push rod needs to be adjusted, the locking nut is loosened from
the external thread
of the end puller, the end puller is pushed a distance towards the inner end
of the through hole
of the gearbox cover so as to pull the external gear ring structure of limit
end of the end puller
out of the internal gear ring structure of the inner end of the through hole
of the gearbox cover,
the end puller is rotated relative to the through hole to a required angle for
mounting and then
is outwardly drawn a distance so as to fit the external gear ring structure of
the limit end of the
end puller to the internal gear ring structure of the inner end of through
hole of the gearbox
cover, and finally the locking nut is tightly screwed with the external thread
of the end puller
to lock the relative position between the end puller and the gearbox cover for
satisfying
mounting requirements of different places.
Preferably, the limit end is a limit pin which is vertically connected with
the axis of the end
puller, and the circumferential end surface of the inner end of the through
hole of the gearbox
cover is provided with a plurality of limit grooves capable of fitting to the
limit pin. When the
angle between the mounting hole on the end puller and the transmission
connecting hole at the
front end of the guiding pipe of the electric push rod needs to be adjusted,
the locking nut is
loosened from the external thread of the end puller, the end puller is pushed
a distance towards
the inner end of the through hole of the gearbox cover so as to pull the limit
pin of the limit
end of the end puller out of the limit groove of the inner end of the through
hole of the
gearbox cover, the end puller is rotated relative to the through hole to a
required angle for
mounting and then outwardly drawn a distance so as to fit the limit pin of the
limit end of the
4

CA 02729573 2010-12-29
end puller to another limit groove of the inner end of the through hole of the
gearbox cover,
and finally the locking nut is tightly screwed with the external thread of the
end puller to lock
the relative position between the end puller and the gearbox cover for
satisfying mounting
requirements of different places.
Preferably, the limit end is a truncated cone that has a diameter greater than
a diameter of the
cylindrical part of the end puller body, the end surface of the truncated cone
adjacent to the
inner surface of the gearbox cover is provided with movable end surface teeth,
and
correspondingly, the inner surface of the gearbox cover is provided with fixed
end surface
teeth fitting to the movable end surface teeth on the truncated cone along the
circumference of
the through hole. The movable end surface teeth means that the end puller can
rotates relative
to the gearbox cover, and the fixed end surface teeth means that the gearbox
cover is in a
stationary state when the end puller rotates. When the angle between the
mounting hole on the
end puller and the transmission connecting hole at the front end of the
guiding pipe of the
electric push rod needs to be adjusted, the locking nut is loosened from the
external thread of
the end puller, the end puller is pushed a distance towards the inner end of
the through hole of
the gearbox cover so as to separate the movable end surface teeth on the
truncated cone of the
end puller from the fixed end surface teeth of the inner end of the through
hole of the gearbox
cover, the end puller is rotated relative to the through hole to a required
angle for mounting
and then outwardly drawn a distance so as to engage the movable end surface
teeth on the
truncated cone of the end puller with the fixed end surface teeth of the inner
end of through
hole of the gearbox cover, and finally the locking nut is tightly screwed with
the external
thread of the end puller to lock the relative position between the end puller
and the gearbox
cover for satisfying mounting requirements of different places.
Thus, the invention has the advantages of capability of adjusting the relative
angle between
the mounting hole on the end puller and the transmission connecting hole at
the front end of
the guiding pipe to satisfy mounting requirements of different places and the
like.
