SanSense is a wearable wristband that dispenses hand
sanitizing disinfectant into the hands, ready to go at all
times. The wristband comes with pre filled pods of
sanitizer that fit perfectly into the band.
SanSense is used so people may have hands-free, ready to
go, disinfectant in a very busy world. It is to make sure
that you are covered at all times in a sense of not having
to worry about germs and getting sick and spreading
bacteria. As for busy people on the go or anyone who just
would like the convenience of having it at all times
without a bulky bottle sticking out of your pocket.
SanSense is a wearable wristband with a compartment
made into the wristband, with a hard removable
protective top, where a pre filled pod of hand sanitizing
disinfect, with a one way valve attached to the pod, fits
securely and snug into the compartment. When on the
wrist, the compartment will be sitting on the inside wrist
just at the edge of the hand, with the one way valve
facing the direction of the palm. The wristband
dispensing unit consists of 3parts.
1. The band itself, which has a built in compartment for
the pre filled pods to fit in.
2. A hard removable top that allows a top closure to fit
and lock-in place protecting the pre filled pods from
accidentally being pressed on causing unwanted extreme
pressure forcing the pod to leak. It sits on top of the

compartment like a cage. It had a hollow center for the
person to press with a finger inside the hollow center onto
the pods, applying enough pressure for the pods to release
the sanitizer.
3. Pre filled pods, filled with hand sanitizing disinfectant.
The pods have a one way valve attached to release the
sanitizer into the palm. The one way valve has a turning
cap at the end that twists open and close to provide the
extra sense of security for unwanted leaking.

FIELD
The invention relates to the field of hand sanitization through a wrist held
dispensing unit.
BACKGROUND
Hand sanitization was always a significant need in the world. After covid-19
immerged,
following all the other life threating germs in society, we can benefit from
tools that have
disinfectant ready at all times. It benefits to always have a sanitizing
device on your body,
so you are never having to worry about the germs that are everywhere
especially after
touching surfaces, shaking hands for business, to working in healthcare. The
urgency to
get to a sink before you eat or before you touch your child, has been
eliminated. The
germs in today's world, are getting more and more deadlier, as we have had too
many
epidemic situations. Sanitizing and preventing the spread of bacteria and
germs is a
necessity in the world today and will always be.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
This invention is to help eliminate time and saving you from by filling the
device with
sanitizer yourself. The need for carrying around bulky bottles of sanitizer is
gone. The
pods that are inserted into the chamber, which is attached to the band, come
prefilled
with hand sanitizer. Society is a fast-paced overpopulated world and very
busy. We have
turned into a ready-to-go food world, and anything else that comes premade or
already
done for you.
Forming one aspect of the invention is apparatus to be worn by a person on the
wrist of
his/hers choosing. The apparatus comprising:
a unit defining a chamber for receiving hand sanitizer, the structure having:
an operative position on the wrist of either one of the arms of the pair,
adjacent the palm of the one of the arms; and
a pod adapted for movement under pressure from the digit of the hand of the
other arm of the pair between a rest position distal to the one of the arms
and a release position proximal to the one of the arms;
an arrangement adapted to encircle the one of the arms and operatively secure
the
structure at the operative position; and
a mechanism adapted, upon movement of the pod to the release position, to
dispense sanitizer from the chamber onto the palm of the one of the arms.

3
According to another aspect, the mechanism can include a spigot extending to a
cap, the
tube having:
an extended configuration wherein, when the structure is disposed at the
operative
position, the cap is disposed proximal to the palm of the one of the arms; and
a retracted configuration wherein, when the structure is disposed at the
operative
configuration, the cap is disposed distal to the palm of the one of the arms.
According to another aspect, the spigot can be collapsible and is adapted for
digital
manipulation by the hand of the other arm between the extended configuration
and the
retracted configuration.
According to another aspect, the mechanism can be adapted to dispense
sanitizer from
the chamber onto the palm of the one arm when the spigot is in the extended
configuration.
According to another aspect, the structure can comprise a receiver and a
chamber, the
chamber being releasably connected to the receiver.
According to another aspect, the chamber can be compressible and can have a
sidewall
that defines the pod.
According to another aspect, the chamber and the mechanism can be integrally
formed.
According to another aspect, the tip can be defined by a pressure relief valve
that
provides for fluid communication between the chamber and atmosphere when the
pad is
moved to the release position.
According to another aspect, the receiver can include:
a base connected to the arrangement and adapted to receive the chamber; and
a cover releasably connectable to the base to provide for said releasable
connection
between the chamber and the receiver, the cover defining an aperture which,
when
the base is in receipt of the cover and the cover is releasably connected to
the
base, presents towards the pod to permit a through passing finger to provide
for
said actuation. Sansense will be used for anybody who works in the public or
ventures out into the public or anywhere that is outside of their home. This
unit is
effective and convenient and can be used in any job and environment and is

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Apparatus according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in
the
drawings and will be understood to include: a structure, an arrangement and a
mechanism.
The structure comprises of a band and a hollow plastic compartment attached to
the
band.
The compartment acts as a protective, barrier for the pod, as it surrounds and
covers the
pod, to prevent accidental pressure put compartment at an unwanted time. This
will
prevent any sanitizer from being released, at times not wanting to use the
unit.
The plastic compartment is in two pieces, one piece permanently attached to
the band as
the other piece can be removed and reattached.
The compartment has a hollow cut-out of the top of the removable piece,
located directly
in the middle.
The compartment also has a small circular hollow hole on the side, which is
located evenly
in the middle of both pieces of the compartment.
The purpose of the small circular hole pertains to the function of the unit.
The pod has a spigot attached with a cap at the end of the spigot. The cap
Turns to open
for the flow of the hand sanitizer to exit the spigot and closes the opposite
way to seal
from any liquid coming out.
A prefilled pod, filled with hand sanitizer, will slide into the hollow
compartment. The
spigot will slide through the hole on the side while the pod sits in the
compartment.
The spigot will fit into the small circular hole, located on the side of the
compartment.
The spigot has an accordion style neck, thus allowing for extension of the
spigot to stretch
into the palm further. When A persons finished the application, they will
close the spigot
back to its original form, by pressing down at the top of the spigot where the
cap is,
applying pressure towards the band. When the spigot is closed and back in
original form it
will be tucked away and ready for next time.
The cap, attached to the spigot, will be able to turn clockwise and
counterclockwise. The
turning of the cap will open allowing the flow of sanitizer, and also to seal
the spigot to
prevent leaking.

When properly worn:
= The band will wrap firmly around the end of the wrist
= The tightness of the band can be altered by adjusting the holes and clasp
at the end of
both arms securing the band from falling off
= The compartment to which the sanitizer is dispensed will fit and sit
comfortably at the
end of the wrist where the arm and palm meet
= The spigot will sit facing the base of the palm
= The compartment will be sealed tightly with the prefilled pods inserted
in the middle
with the spigot protruding through the small circular hole in the compartments
side
= the cover is releasably connected to the base to releasably connect the
chamber to the
receiver
= The sanitizer will be ejected into the base of the palm
For use, to dispense sanitizer from the compartment onto the palm of the
person wearing
the SanSense unit:
= The persons will use the opposite hand to twist the cap to open to allow
the flow of
sanitizer to be released
= With the opposite hand of the person using SanSense will apply pressure
through the
hollow hole at the top of compartment in the middle pressing down on apply a
small
amount of pressure to the prefilled pod
= The pressure put on the pod will force the sanitizer to flow through the
spigot out of
the cap allowing the sanitizer to land in the base of the palm
= Small amounts of sanitizer will flow through the spigot to prevent
excessive and
wasteful use.
= The above process is repeated until an amount of hand sanitizer adequate
to the user
has been dispensed.
= Thereafter with the persons opposite hand wearing the SanSense , will
turn the cap
the opposite way too close and ensure no leakage or unwanted sanitizer will be
released
When the pod is emptied:
= the top of the compartment can be removed
= the pod will then be removed along with the spigot attached
= a new pod, full of sanitizer, can be inserted in the hollow compartment
and the
spigot, which is attached to the pod, through the small circular hole
= the top compartment piece that was removed will then be snapped back into
place
sealing the pod into the band
