The present invention relates to a low-chlorine-salt or chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-melting material based on an adhesion carrier, and a preparation method therefor. The present invention belongs to the technical field of highway engineering in transportation engineering. The environmentally friendly ice-melting material comprises an adhesion material, an ice melting agent, a hydrophobic material and water, wherein the adhesion material is a mixture of volcanic ash and pine bark powder or a mixture of bagasse and volcanic ash; the ice melting agent is a powdery industrial salt or calcium acetate; and the hydrophobic material is nano silicon dioxide. The ice-and-snow-melting material can reduce corrosion damage to road structure facilities and surrounding environments, and minimize the application cost of a chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-melting agent, and the actual problem of snow accumulation and icing occurring on road surfaces in winter is practically and effectively solved.

1. A low-chlorine-salt and chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-
melting material
based on an adhesion carrier, wherein,
it comprises an adhesion material, an ice-melting agent, a hydrophobic
material, and water;
when the adhesion material is a mixture of volcanic ash and pine bark powder
with a mass
ratio of 12.5-13.5: 1, the ice-melting agent is a powdery industrial salt, the
hydrophobic
material is nano silicon dioxide, and the mass ratio of the adhesion material
to the ice-melting
agent to the hydrophobic material to the water is 13.5-14.5: 1.4-1.6: 0.45-
0.55: 3.6-3.8;
when the adhesion material is a mixture of volcanic ash and pine bark powder
with a mass
ratio of 11-12: 1, the ice-melting agent is calcium acetate, the hydrophobic
material is nano
silicon dioxide, and the mass ratio of the adhesion material to the ice-
melting agent to the
hydrophobic material to the water is 12-13: 4.5-5.5: 0.45-0.55: 3.3-3.7;

based on an adhesion carrier according to claim 1, wherein, when the adhesion
material is a
mixture of volcanic ash and pine bark powder with a mass ratio of 13: 1, the
ice-melting agent
is a powdery industrial salt, the hydrophobic material is nano silicon
dioxide, and the mass
ratio of the adhesion material to the ice-melting agent to the hydrophobic
material to the water
is 14: 1.5: 0.5: 3.7.
4. The low-chlorine-salt and chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-
melting material
based on an adhesion carrier according to claim 1, wherein, when the adhesion
material is a
mixture of volcanic ash and pine bark powder with a mass ratio of 11.5: 1, the
ice-melting
agent is calcium acetate, the hydrophobic material is nano silicon dioxide,
and the mass ratio
of the adhesion material to the ice-melting agent to the hydrophobic material
to the water is
12.5: 5: 0.5: 3.5.
5. The low-chlorine-salt and chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-
melting material
based on an adhesion carrier according to claim 1, wherein, when the adhesion
material is a
mixture of bagasse and volcanic ash with a mass ratio of 10: 4, the ice-
melting agent is a
powdery industrial salt, the hydrophobic material is nano silicon dioxide, and
the mass ratio
of the adhesion material to the ice-melting agent to the hydrophobic material
to the water is
14: 1.5: 0.5: 4.5.

6. The low-chlorine-salt and chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-
melting material
based on an adhesion carrier according to claim 1, wherein, when the adhesion
material is a
mixture of bagasse and volcanic ash with a mass ratio of 10: 2.5, the ice-
melting agent is
calcium acetate, the hydrophobic material is nano silicon dioxide, and the
mass ratio of the
adhesion material to the ice-melting agent to the hydrophobic material to the
water is 12.5: 5:
0.5: 4.5.
7. A method for preparing the low-chlorine-salt and chlorine-salt-free
environmentally friendly
ice-melting material based on an adhesion carrier according to any one of
claims 1-6, wherein,
said method comprises the following steps:
step (1), completely dissolving the ice-melting agent in water, and uniformly
stirring to form
an ice-melting agent liquid;
step (2), uniformly stirring the adhesion material, the ice-melting agent and
the hydrophobic
material which have been formulated in proportion to form a uniformly mixed
solid powder;
step (3), slowly adding the ice-melting agent liquid obtained in step (1) to
the mixed solid
powder obtained in step (2), and uniformly stirring, then preparing particles
having a diameter
of less than 2 mm, then drying, and naturally cooling to room temperature, so
as to obtain the
low-chlorine-salt and chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-melting
material based
on an adhesion carrier.
8. The method for preparing the low-chlorine-salt and chlorine-salt-free
environmentally
friendly ice-melting material based on an adhesion carrier according to claim
7, wherein, the
drying temperature is 105 C, and the drying time is more than 2 hours.

Description
LOW-CHLORINE-SALT OR CHLORINE-SALT-FREE ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY ICE-
MELTING MATERIAL BASED ON ADHESION CARRIER, AND PREPARATION METHOD
THEREFOR
Technical field
The present invention belongs to the technical field of highway engineering in
transportation
engineering, and particularly relates to a low-chlorine-salt or chlorine-salt-
free environmentally
friendly ice-melting material based on an adhesion carrier and a preparation
method thereof.
Background Art
According to incomplete statistics, more than 90% of the ice and snow melting
material used for
removing ice and snow on the highway pavement at the present stage is chlorine
salt and is only
spread according to experience, the average spreading amount each time is
mostly 200-500 g/m2,
which causes great corrosion to highway pavement, bridge deck, guardrail and
other ancillary
facilities, and causes great damage to the soil along the way. The chlorine-
salt-free environmentally
friendly ice-melting agent for removing snow and ice on the pavement is
expensive, the price of
which is about 20 times of the price of an ordinary chlorine-salt ice-melting
agent, thereby restricting
the large-scale use of the chlorine-salt--free environmentally friendly ice
melting agent.
In view of the requirement of ice melting and snow melting under the
conditions of low temperature
and ice and snow in winter, the excessive spreading of chlorine-salt for
melting ice and snow in
traditional road maintenance operation in winter, the environmental pollution
and infrastructure
corrosion damage caused by extensive use of industrial salt, and the practical
engineering problem
that the price of existing chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-
melting agent is high, there
is absolutely a need to carry out research on new materials for melting ice
and snow on the pavement,
so as to reduce the amount of chlorine-salt used for removing ice and snow on
a highway pavement,
protect the pavement structural facilities and ecological environment, and
reduce the cost of the
pavement ice-melting agent to facilitate the promotion and application.
Summary of the Invention
In order to overcome the defects in the prior art, the present invention
provides a low-chlorine-salt
and chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-melting material based on
adhesion carrier and a
preparation method thereof The ice-melting and snow-melting material can
reduce corrosion damage
to highway structural facilities and surrounding environments, reduce the
application cost of the
chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-melting agent to the greatest
extent, and practically
and effectively solve the actual problem of snow accumulation and freezing on
the pavement in
winter.
In order to achieve the above purpose, the technical solution adopted by the
present invention is as

The present invention also provides a method for preparing the above-mentioned
low-chlorine-salt
or chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-melting material based on
an adhesion carrier,
comprising the following steps:
step (1), completely dissolving the ice-melting agent in water, and uniformly
stirring to form an ice-
melting agent liquid;
step (2): uniformly stirring the adhesion material, the ice-melting agent and
the hydrophobic material
which have been formulated in proportion to form a uniformly mixed solid
powder;

step (3): slowly adding the ice-melting agent liquid obtained in step (1) to
the mixed solid powder
obtained in step (2), uniformly stirring, then preparing particles having a
diameter of less than 2 mm,
then drying, and naturally cooling to room temperature, so as to obtain the
low-chlorine-salt or
chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-melting material based on an
adhesion carrier.
Further, preferably, the drying temperature is 105 C, and the drying time is
more than 2 hours.
(1) The key step for preparing the ice-melting material of the present
invention is to completely
dissolve the ice-melting agent in water. If the ice-melting agent is not
dissolved in water and various
components are directly mixed and stirred, the ice-melting agent is dispersed
unevenly in the prepared
ice-melting material, resulting in a large discreteness of the test result and
an unsatisfactory ice-
melting effect.
(2) When preparing the ice-melting material of the present invention, the
usage amount of the
hydrophobic material should be strictly controlled, and it is suggested to be
controlled within 3%.
This amount is basically controlled to be around 2% in the present invention,
and an appropriate
amount of hydrophobic material can enhance the effect of reducing adhesive
force of the ice-melting
material, and can better exert the effect of the ice-melting material, while
excess hydrophobic material
will affect the anti-skid performance of pavement, and brings a certain risk
to traffic safety.
(3) In the preparation of the ice-melting material of the present invention,
the usage amount of the
ice-melting agent should be controlled in a reasonable range, the amount of
the chlorine-salt ice-
melting agent is easily controlled to be about 5% to 10%, lack of chlorine-
salt will affect the ice-
melting effect, and excessive use of chlorine-salt will cause a large
corrosion effect on the pavement
structure and the environment along the way.
For the chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-melting agent, the
usage amount is easily
controlled to be about 20% to 25%, and less use thereof will also affect the
ice-melting effect, and
excessive use thereof will increase the cost, which is unfavorable for
popularization and application.
Beneficial effects:
Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following
beneficial effects:
The ice-melting and snow-melting material of the present invention can reduce
the corrosion damage
to highway structural facilities and surrounding environments, reduce the
application cost of the
chlorine-salt-free environmentally friendly ice-melting agent to the greatest
extent, and practically
and effectively solve the actual problem of snow accumulation and freezing on
the pavement in
winter.
The ice-melting material of the present invention can greatly reduce the usage
amount of chlorine-
salt. Under the condition of achieving the ideal ice-melting effect, the usage
amount of chlorine-salt
can be reduced to about 7% of the traditional operation. For the
environmentally friendly ice-melting
material involved in the present invention, the chlorine-salt content is 0,
and the price can be reduced
by about 70% compared with that of a simple environmentally friendly snow-
melting agent. Under
the condition that the ice melting effects are basically equivalent, reducing
the use of chlorine-salt or
reducing the price of the environmentally friendly snow-melting agent has
remarkable social and
economic benefits for protecting the pavement structure and the environment
along the way, and
advantageously supports the development of safe traffic, green traffic and
environmental protection.

Application Example
The present invention consists of an adhesion material, an ice-melting agent,
a hydrophobic material,
and water, and is divided into an internal doping type and an external use
type, each type is divided
into a low-chlorine-salt type and a chlorine-salt-free type, and the specific
preparation solution is as
follows:
1. Internal doping type
(1) Low-chlorine-salt type ice-melting and snow melting material (Nd-I type)
Each component of the internal-doping low-chlorine-salt type ice-melting and
snow melting material
(Nd-I type) is a powdery material, wherein the adhesion material consists of
volcanic ash and pine
bark powder with a mass ratio of 13:1; the ice-melting agent is a powdery
industrial salt with a mass
fraction ratio of 1.5; the hydrophobic material is nano silicon dioxide with a
mass fraction ratio of
0.5; the water is drinking water, and the mass fraction ratio of the water is
3.7.
The content of chlorine-salt in the internal doping low-chlorine-salt type ice-
melting and snow
melting material (Nd-I type) is about 7.6%, and the mass ratio of each
component is as follows: the
adhesion material: the ice-melting agent: the hydrophobic material: water =
14: 1.5: 0.5: 3.7. The
specific manufacturing method is as follows:
In order to uniformly disperse the ice-melting agent, firstly, the ice-melting
agent is dissolved
completely in water and stirred uniformly to form the ice-melting agent
liquid; and then the materials
of remaining components which have been formulated in proportion are mixed and
stirred uniformly
to form uniformly mixed solid powder; then the ice-melting agent liquid is
slowly added into the
mixed solid powder and stirred uniformly. Two key steps should be noticed in
the manufacturing
process, one is to firstly mix the ice-melting agent and water evenly to form
the ice-melting agent

liquid, the other is to mix the solid powder evenly to form the mixed solid
powder, and then the two
are mixed evenly to prepare particles with a diameter of less than 2mm, the
particles are put in an
environment of 105 C and dried for more than 2 hours, and then taken out and
cooled to room
temperature under natural conditions.
According to the present invention, the internal doping low-chlorine-salt type
ice-melting and snow-
melting material (ND-I type) can be used to replace mineral powder in the
asphalt mixture in highway
engineering, and can effectively reduce the adhesive force between the highway
pavement and the
ice layer. It is proved through indoor experiments that, when 30% of the
mineral powder in the asphalt
mixture is replaced by the material of the present invention and freezing test
is carried out at -10 C
(at this time, the doping amount of chlorine salt is just 2.28%), compared
with the situation of not
spreading the material of the present invention, the adhesive force between
the highway pavement
and the ice layer is reduced by more than 80%, and the freezing time of the
highway pavement is
effectively delayed by more than 1.6 times.
(2) Chlorine-salt-free ice-melting and snow-melting material (NW-I type)
Each component of the internal doping chlorine-salt-free type ice-melting and
snow-melting material
(NW-I type) is a powdery material, wherein the adhesion material consists of
volcanic ash and pine
bark powder with a mass ratio of 11.5:1; the ice-melting agent is calcium
acetate with a mass fraction
ratio of 5; the hydrophobic material is nano silicon dioxide with a mass
fraction ratio of 0.5; the water
is drinking water, and the mass fraction ratio of the water is 3.5.
The content of chlorine-salt in the internal doping chlorine-salt-free type
ice-melting and snow-
melting material (NW-I type) is 0%, and the mass ratio of each component is as
follows: the adhesion
material: the ice-melting agent: the hydrophobic material: water = 12.5: 5:
0.5: 3.5. The specific
manufacturing method is as follows:
In order to uniformly disperse the ice-melting agent, firstly, the ice-melting
agent is dissolved
completely in water and stirred uniformly to form the ice-melting agent
liquid; and then the materials
of remaining components which have been formulated in proportion are mixed and
stirred uniformly
to form uniformly mixed solid powder; then the ice-melting agent liquid is
slowly added into the
mixed solid powder and stirred uniformly. Two key steps should be noticed in

temperature under natural conditions.
According to the present invention, the internal doping chlorine-salt-free
type ice-melting and snow-
melting material (NW-I type) can be used to replace mineral powder in the
asphalt mixture in highway

material (WD-I type) is about 7.3%, and the mass ratio of each component is as
follows: the adhesion
material: the ice-melting agent: the hydrophobic material: water = 14: 1.5:
0.5: 4.5. The specific
manufacturing method is as follows:
In order to uniformly disperse the ice-melting agent, firstly, the ice-melting
agent is dissolved
completely in water and stirred uniformly to form the ice-melting agent
liquid; and then the materials

pavement preventive
maintenance in winter and for snowfall and icing, and can be used for
preventing road icing in winter
and as an auxiliary measure for removing ice and snow, and can effectively
reduce the adhesive force
between a highway pavement and an ice layer. It is proved through indoor
experiments that, under
the condition that the spread amount of the material of the invention is
controlled to be 50g/m2 at -
t (at this time, the actual content of the chlorine-salt is only 3.9 g/m2),
compared with the situation
of not spreading the material of the invention, the adhesive force between the
highway pavement and
the ice layer is reduced by more than 85%, and the freezing time of the
highway pavement is
effectively delayed by more than 1.5 times. At the same time, compared with
simple use of chlorine
salt, under the same level of the content of chlorine salt and on the premise
that the freezing time of
pavement is similarly delayed, the invention is more effective in reducing the
adhesive force between
the highway pavement and the ice layer, and the reducing effect can be
increased by more than 20%.
(2) Chlorine-salt-free ice-melting and snow-melting material (WW-I type)
Each component of the external use type chlorine-salt-free ice-melting and
snow-melting material
(WW-I type) is a powdery material, wherein the adhesion material consists of
bagasse and volcanic
ash with a mass ratio of 10: 2.5; the ice-melting agent is calcium acetate
with a mass fraction ratio of
5; the hydrophobic material is nano silicon dioxide with a mass fraction ratio
of 0.5; the water is
drinking water, and the mass fraction ratio of the water is 4.5.
The content of chlorine salt in the external use type chlorine-salt-free ice-
melting and snow-melting
material (WW-I type) is 0%, and the mass ratio of each component is as
follows: the adhesion
material: the ice-melting agent: the hydrophobic material: water = 12.5: 5:
0.5: 4.5. The specific
manufacturing method is as follows:

invention, the adhesive force
between the highway pavement and the ice layer is reduced by about 80%. At the
same time,
compared with simple use of chlorine-salt, under the same level of the content
of chlorine salt and on
the premise that the freezing time of pavement is similarly delayed and the
adhesive force between
the highway pavement and the ice layer is similarly reduced, the cost is only
about 30% of the general
environmentally friendly ice-melting agent on the market. Therefore, on the
premise of ensuring the
ice melting effect, the cost of the chlorine-salt-free environmentally
friendly ice-melting agent is
greatly reduced in the present invention.
