APPARATUS FOR THE FILLING OF FOLDING BOX CONTAINERS WITH A FREE-
FLOWING PRODUCT, MORE PARTICULARLY A LIQUID, AND FOR THE CLOSING
OF THE CONTAINERS.
The invention relates to an apparatus for the filling with a
free-flowing product, more particularly a liquid, of a folding
box container closed at one end, more particularly at an end
equipped with a pouring means or a closure, and for the closing
of the containers at the other end, the apparatus comprising an
endless conveyor rotating in a vertical plane and having
outwardly open compartments into which the containers can be
introduced with their ends open in the outward direction by a
preceding transfer unit, the endless conveyor conveying the
containers in steps below a fixed periodically opening product
outlet disposed in the upper zone of the conveyor, and from the
product outlet to fixed closure elements disposed in said upper
zone, and thereafter to an outlet station which is disposed in
the lower zone of the conveyor and which lowers the compartments
from the compartments by means of removal and transfer elements
and transfers the containers to a removal conveyor.
